For some reason I doubt that Simon Jordan has a million quid in the bank.

Hearn did quite well considering he's obviously lying through his teeth about Conor's (and other boxers) drug usage.

Jordan's problem is he is a massive hypocrite, i've never seen him get that upset about Fury failing drug tests for Nandrolone as he is about Conor. Clearly doesn't want to discuss the elephant in the room which is all top boxers are juicing not just Benn.

I also thought Jordan came across at times as a very unpleasant, bitter little man. Being right at all costs is all very well but being a decent human being is more important and Jordan seems like somebody who you wouldn't piss on if he was on fire. You would probably chuck oil on him and think good riddance.

Jordan seemed more focused on a personal vendetta rather than actually pressing for the things he should have been pressing for.

Just watched. Hearn gave Jordan plenty of opportunities to catch him out but Jordan failed to do so.

It comes down to this. Hearn urged Buatsi not to sign the Pascal contact because he wouldn’t sign up to VADA yet when Benn fails a test through VADA he claims it doesn’t count.

Can’t have it both ways.

That was my take too.

Eddie is rarely properly questioned and Jordan had the perfect chance to fire loads of tough questions at him. Instead he spent most of the time trying to score points and bicker which gave Eddie a bit of a free ride.

Hearn always said it was Buatsi and his management that decided against the Pascal fight and he didn’t necessarily disagree as Pascal had previous failures.

I think you are all being a bit harsh on Jordan.

Eddie started the personal attacks weeks ago - jibes about Jordan’s businesses/hair/earrings etc.

He also put all of the questions mentioned above to him. Eddie had a catch all answer - legally I couldn’t do anything…. It’s down to the Board. (He also gave an explanation on Buatsi, albeit a lie).

Both Jordan and White held Eddie to account on the key point as I mentioned before…..

Why didn’t you pull the fight? They didn’t believe - and neither do I - that he couldn’t have found a disrepute clause to call it off.

They also strongly stated it was immoral to promote Benn again until he has been cleared.

I think you are all a bit guilty (understandably being boxing fans) of worrying about the minutiae. Their focus is on addressing the points the general sports fan would ask.

Nobody that I heard had questioned Hearn on the morality of putting this fight on.

I wouldn't be surprised if Benn doesn't fight until this is settled. Using the WBC clearing him, even though you don't agree with their reasons for doing so, is not going to wash I feel.

Don't think Hearn does Moral , to him boxing is a buisness nothing more nothing less , its also one that enables him to push himself and his ego , and whats more he is VERY GOOD at it , just look at the profit matchroom made that someone posted , but morals don't come into it , far has he's concerned its all about money and profit and his own ego , You can't tell me Hearn does'nt know Benn is on the juice you only have to look at benn , his physice his raging , his attitude and the new found power and strenght not too mention failed tests .

And the point about a juiced-up boxer killing an opponent is obviously valid, but if almost everyone is doing it but not getting caught, is it moot? and we're continuing to watch whilst aware this is _probably_ the case.
