As predicted an easy pickings fight. Anderson needs to step it up, probably stick him in with Franklin next and show Joshua how to stop him, then see if he can cut the mustard with one of the likes of Whyte, Chizza, Joyce, Parker etc.

Agree, he shows more potential to my eyes, than any other current HW prospect - and yet they book him in for these time wasting fights
Look what too many cab drivers did for Wilder, he was HW champ with no defence, no footwork, no combinations, no clue how to do anything but throw a 1-2.

jah's been moved much more ambitiously than wilder was: 23 years old, 3.5 years pro.moved from solid journeymen gatekeepers like hernandez, langston, and ibeh to fringe contendes like forrest and arias. conversely, wilder at 3.5 years in was 27 and arguably hadnt fought anyone better than a shot owen beck who had lost 7 straight and been shut out by a 0-0 guy in his previous fight.
anderson fought a number of guys already who give prospects problems, he was just good enough to blow them out and make them look like nothing. i think overall his matchmaking is okay, and expect they'll step him up again next time out. if not it will be a letdown

Takam is my bet
Miller makes no sense - hes huge and no upside to beating him.

This guy has tons of ability. I could see him being champion one day.

Jared Anderson To Headline ESPN Show July 1 In Hometown Of Toledo..
Hopefully it’s a decent opponent.
Definitely could have picked a better weekend to prove his drawing power in Toledo.
Towns all over the northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan area will be having their 4th of July fireworks that day.
People aren't going to be skipping their annual 4th of July parties for this.
When Robert Easter had his first title defense in Toledo the Huntington was packed to the roof, over 9000 people there. That was February 2017. His second title defense on June 30th, 2017 was maybe half of that.

Yeah Anderson has the potential but needs to tighten up his defence and needs more speed in his movement .

The best way to tighten up defence is to have something coming back at you.
I'm not overly disappointed at the pace of his career, just want to see the opponent level helping him to learn and progress.

Yeah, as the old Bruce Lee saying goes: "Boards don't hit back..."

Really impressive stoppage by Anderson.
Arias was too small and didn't seem to be able to get any combinations off although he tried some big single shots.
Anderson was just too big
He's definitely one of the potential super stars
But what route will he take now? The division is fairly messy atm
Anderson was looked good but he must work on defense! Lucky for him he was fighting a 5'11" inch guy with limited power. You can draw any conclusions vs this type of opponent.
