Didn’t watch this but if punch stats are 43-3 and you were a 135 in with Mabey the best 147 in the world towels should be getting lobbed the second your hurt at all..

the fight should've been stopped in the 8th, if not sooner. totally unnecessary punishment for a guy who was miles down, had already copped a beating, and never showed any signs of hurting ennis

Crawford or Spence. Nothing else for Ennis. He is soo clearly number 3 in welterweight

Ennis is just levels ahead of everyone he has faced. Sublime skill and has the power to go with it as well.
Watch them avoid this guy.

Crawford/Spence winner should deal with this guy asap. They dont get any younger and Ennis will be here for years.

A lot of talk over the last few years about Ennis beating Crawford and Spence.
I mean, history shows that a lot of established world champions hardly give new fresher talent a word title
Shot.
But even then does Ennis beat them?

My view is that he beats Spence but not yet bests Crawford.
Doubt he will fight either as they are due to move up and will be gone to retirement by the time he joins them.

Ennis is damn good. The sweet swcience master-destroyer. Match him vs the Crawford-Spence winner.

Every time i watch him i just like him more and more , he's more than ready for Spence or Crawford right now , Course we all know its not gonna happen they will paitently wait for Crawford SPENCE , to fight then rematch each other , if one wins both it will then be up in weight the other praobably retire , Boots will become undisputed and reign for a long time , he's speciel and they will be pateint

Nobody can tell me he couldn't secure a single title shot after 32 fights.
When you are skilled and talented like that, sooner or later you have to become a mandatory for any of the 4 organizations. And it shouldn't take you THAT many fights.
He got more fights then Spence and Bud was already undisputed and almost a 3 division champ at that point of his career.
You can only avoid someone to a certain degree.
They say for years now he is ready for these two.
I'm not saying he is ducking, if I was 22/23 I also wouldn't want to fight P4P greats for my first ever title shot.
I don't think his team believed he was ready for any of these two.
He is older now with more fights and the only two champions are occupied with each other. They could fight between 1-3 fights and possibly go up in weight or retire after.
Perfect time to get a mandatory spot.

I believe boots is as good as Spence and craw right now. And as they are Devon long while he is improving I would favour him vs either of they were to fight…. But I think those guys will know that and would drop a belt or move up unless there was crazy money on the line.
If I’m right then he should just stay active. Considering he is having no trouble with anyone 4 a year is doable. Just beat everyone else so that you can be ignored….

so crawford and spence both want no part of boots and would both go so far to vacate their belts or move up in weight, to avoid facing jaron ennis?
if that's your serious opinion, well, it's an original one, that's for sure. shows you must surely got great inside knowledge of the mindset of undefeated world champion fighters.
ennis is a amazingly skilled fighter and most probably future champion.
he must be the greatest, most fearsome wrecking machine in the history of the sport if spence and crawford are shaking in their boots and do literally everything to avoid having to face this terrifying man.

The concept of someone being too high risk for the reward isn’t a new one.
Boots has been the best available opponent for the last year or 2 and neither have fought him… why do you expect there attitudes to change?
Ps moving up or dropping isn’t a very crazy move when you are undisputed (which one will be) you nearly always have to drop a belt, so you just drop the one boots is mandatory for….)

I thought Ennis was getting hit with some unnecessary shots. I've been very impressed by him but last night made me think that Crawford beats him.

Don't think Spence or Crawford are activly ducking him , anymore than he has been activly chasing a fight with them , , The big fight on the horizen has been Spence - Crawford ,, I think the big 2 have just been happy to marinate and build there fight , Ennis on the other hand knows he's there , he's just been patient he knows his time will come and it will come shortly , theres 2 maybee 3 fights on the C-S HORIZEN THEN PROBABLY RETIRE OR MOVE UP Charlo would off got beat by Canelo by then ,and move back down , Tim Tzu will still be around , both probably worth just has much money and less risk than Boots , Ennis will get his title become undisputed within a couple years and reign for quite a while , and he'll do it going no where near Crawford or Spence

It’s his team. PBC should be thinking he’s the next 147 star… they haven’t been getting him in that position.
It’s not hard paying fees and getting yourself into a mandatory shot.
