Even this version of Canelo should beat Jermell easily.

This is dumb. Canelo is officially a duck for avoiding Benavidez.

It reminds me of when Floyd lured JMM up two weight classes.

Jmell should cash in before getting with Tszyu. I'm interested to see what his purse is for this bout and will it be a permanent move. Would much rather see Canelo in with Bena and Charlo v Tszyu but boxing is business. Its good to see Jmell's injuries have sorted themselves out - miraculously !!

I don't see how it benefits Jermell much if he gets his bell rung then returns to his normal weight. People will criticize the heck out of this fight.

Is there a rematch clause ?
How is Charlo going to beat him ?
Sure as hell won't be through power at 168.

Finally Hearn shuts up about promoting Canelo.

yeah, finally.
It was embarrassing him carrying on like Canelo was in his stable, that he actually knew anything about Canelo's timetable, decisions etc.
Canelo does what he wants. Has done for ages.

This..is ridiculous..
Instead of fighting a Middleweight after a 2 year layoff, he is fighting a Super Welt after a 1+ year layoff.
This is even more of a joke.
Their are actually people who defend this joke. Must be the same people who still defend Fury and believe that Usyk is ducking him

LOL i think nobody expected this. I love this fight

Wondering if Alvarez want face both Charlos. Actually, smaller Charlo has better footwork and faster hands, can be challenge for Canelo

there's zero danger canelo will look like the bigger man come fight night.
most probably he won't even be the heavier man vs poor tiny 6 feet charlo in there.

Too much. And now there’s more money for his stable. LOL!

Its all about making money and smart moves. Charlos are gonna cash in big time vs Canelo.
Why do you think they were idle and coddled by abc orgs for a long period of time ? They knew that Canelo will probably fight them. Why fighting Adames and Tim for lesser money?
I pity the poor people for spending their hard earned, little money to make thsese guys even more richer. I mean all these guys literally live like kings.
Making shitloads of money in a smart way is the ultimate goal.
On paper , profile-wise, these fights are very good business but in terms of competitiveness they look like cherripicks since these fighters are from lower weight classes and also inactive.
It would be intersting to see what Bena will do next? Fight Morrel, Andrade? Or stay safe and wait for Canelo's call?

I like this fight much better than his brother.
Big Charlo was just sitting on the shelf protecting his zero and waiting for the call.
Smaller Charlo unified a division, took a loss on the way to unifying, took tough fights.
He deserves the cash cow phone call more than the rest of the near weight fighters.
Small Charlo has hit the lottery but now it's time for the orgs to start taking his belts.
Tszyu has waited long enough.

Indeed Mell Charlo did a lot better than his bigger brother but since his last fight from May 2022, he was staying safe too without defending his titles.
They were too coddled by the abc orgs.
I mean its very fishy.

This is laughable considering there are 3 more competitive options at 168, all with a much better chance of beating Canelo.
A 154lber who has been out for a year and a half? Probably a rehydration clause too. What's next, the winner of 147lbers Spence vs Crawford? Maybe he could lure Amir Khan out of retirement for a rematch? Jake Paul anyone?
Fuk Canelo. Hope he loses. He just flipped off all boxing fans.

One thing is, charlo is never going back to 154, he will be a 160 after this. So take all his belts… sure they want to bill it as undisputed vs undisputed, but why wait just take his belts and let the division move on.

Charlo ain't gonna care about those belts after he is gonna get the Canelo payday. Why paying so many fees?
Its all about money.
Both Charlos should've had to fight their mandos during this period of time but they got coddled. Now they gonna get the Canelo payday for being inactive and keep those titles hostage. Very lucky and coddled mofos.

I have wanted to see Alvarez fight Charlo for years, just not this Charlo.
I would love to know how Mall is feeling?
Obviously he's going to be fully behind his brother, but I bet he's thinking that it should be him.

it's just one fight and despite it's a 2 division weight jump for charlo, he has the height and frame to come in as a full fledged supermiddle come fight night.
charlo with his size and at age 33 making weight for 154 and rehydrating at least 20 pounds over night to now fighting at a much more natural for him 168 is just 14 pounds more, not even his full rehydration. he will still have to make a bit of weight and come in the ring fully rehydrated at around 180.
