if kossibutzkyi beats ajagba, where does that put him in the top 15?
If and thats a massssssive If that would give efe a decent little resume, deri, rice, shaw and koso is a very nice little list of decent guys.
With that I could put him around 10thish (although i dont think he is top 10 tallent, gotta reward people taking good fights). People will struggle to put him above sanchez who comfortably beat him... but i would have no dramas with it dude to the shit franks been up to.

Jared Anderson: "Everything That Happened [Last Fight], I Was Confident Of Handling"
“Everything that happened, I was confident of handling,” Anderson told BS.com. “I just didn’t know what fight it was going to come out in. Nothing in that fight happened that I wasn’t already confident in what I could do.
“For it to have been on ESPN where everybody else could see it, how they took it was actually a downer. It didn’t do nothing but feed my ego.”
“Now I know that everyone’s doubting me,” noted Anderson. “So when I do go into that next fight where they think that it’s gonna be a problem or issue, I’m gonna tell everybody ‘Make sure you go bet your biggest bag, and then make sure to share it with me when I win because I told y’all.’
“I feel like just kind of fed into my ego and they’re gonna hype up a different side of me.”

Bakhodir Jalolov‘s fight won’t be on TV.
All other fights are on ESPN+ and ESPN.
Strange. Only Jalalov is missing.
Any reason for this?

Seems strange to me. Shouldn't they want people to see a top up-and-comer, an Olympian gold medal winner?
Perhaps they'll use it to fill in the time if Kossobutskiy-Ajagba ends early?

Literally everyone is on TV/stream apart from him.

It has to do with a stupid promotional dispute. If they were decent people, they'd look out for the fighter's best interests and let him be shown on TV.

Is jalov going to the olympics? i thought there was a 10 pro fight limit, but he has clearly been back in the ams so i must of made that up.
Jalov is ready to fight legit contenders, this sh!t is a joke, if he is going to the olympics again fair but he will have to get strait into it afterwards if he wants a pro carrer.... will be 30, and noone will want to fight him so getting mando wont be easy.

This should be interesting, Zhussupov vs Campos.
Zhuss was a very handy amateur.

Limit is 15 pro fights, so we may see his 14th fiht in the end of this year or in first moths of 2024 and then he focuses on Olympics, if boxing will still be included in olympic games by then. Otherwise we may see him turning to pros 100%

ya it's getting crazy. they've increased the amount of money in amateur boxing over the last few years, now guys are making 6 figures for winning the worlds, etc. so for a really small dominant am it makes sense to stay there
but for a super heavyweight, like jalo, his earning potential in pro boxing far exceeds that. wish he'd commit himself fully to that

If I remember correctly Uzbek have a 500grand gold medal bonus too… one of the biggest in the world (Mabey it’s a bit less but it’s huge cash)

well damn that is some big cash then, can understand him trying to milk the ams as much as possible. between the world championships and olympics he's making good money
maybe he figures last olympics next year at 30 and that he still has some good years to pursue the pros, i dunno, i wish he'd just do pros now though

undercard action..........touted prospect abdullah mason decisions very game cesar villaraga, who made every round competitive but was just a step behind each time. mason defense on point but could have worked offensively more.
