I was training over in Queensland, AU and I remember a big hype around Jai and all the boxers were talking about him like he was a big deal. 2019 I think so he was already established.

I thought having him on a UK card was silly but he’s clearly earned a load of fans now and I’d pay to see him if he fought anywhere up north.

deffo, we do tend to like Aussie boxers too, Remember Katsidis was always popular on these shores.

Real deal this lad, very entertaining style and tough as nails also. Interested to see who's next for him.

Can see him transitioning up to heavyweight quite nicely too. Maybe not a World title winner at heavyweight but definitely someone who will likely earn big bucks.

Fighters rarely make life changing money outside PPV. Not sure CBS will ever headline a PPV card but could get life changing money travelling to Sauldi or Australia.

No idea on money for CBS last night maybe 60-100k after deductions and tax

against who Briedis if i remember rightly closer than cards said ,cbs has been in Okolie,Chamberlain,McCarthy,Riakporhe all big an experienced fighters jai dont offer anything greater than them in terms of speed and power and boxing i think

why tho maggy tomm mac was a euro champ, chamberlain is of the same physical body strength of opetaia that's what i mean ,so you reckon jai is that good then i cant wait then ive seen him fight i dont think he is a superstar like you cbs will battle him

makin a deal out of someone getting a euro title for beating a mediocre opponent (look them up - bilal laggoume), but dismissing a guy who beat the world #1 for a world title? you're not making sense and it sounds like you've never seen jai fight. to say he's got nothing on all those guys is ridiculous. why havent they beaten the top man in the world then? why werent they olympians at 17?

sure, jai is maybe like the 7th best cruiser in the uk

My immediate thoughts are he's not big enough.

Mine too, doesn't seem to have a large frame either although who knows what he walks round at. Could go and 'unify' with the silly Bridger WBC belt, easy trinket.

If David Nyika progresses fast enough, that would be a natural match up down the line.

But he is the top CW for me and wipes the floor with all comers .
