Hi Liam - how do you feel the fight went (haven't seen it myself, but Boxrec says you won 58-57 and weighed 13-8)? Is the plan still to go to super-middle, maybe via one or two more warm-ups as the weight comes off?
Just to stick my 2 pence in!

4 years out is a long time and he needed to get it out of the way.

He picked a decent opponent for his return, probably too decent! Furthermore the weight was an issue, the guy was naturally much bigger and stronger so Cameron needs to get back to 12 stone.

Ring rust and lack of being fight fit were evident, but that was to be expected after 4 years out, lots of hard work to do.
Coco - absolutely agree - I was simply asking as Liam's original post was that he would have one warm-up and then be straight back in to big fights at 12st, whereas my thought (which matches yours) was that he might need a few more than that as four years is a long time to be out. But far better to have a close competitive fight like this for Liam to get a true measure of where he is at at the moment than to have a meaningless 60-54 against someone throwing two punches a round.

Liam Cameron was treated disgracefully. Just cynically used. I would go as far as to suggest it might be criminal.

it was awful, and he's been through a lot with his stepdaughter, so should be doubly proud. I would love him to go onto win a British title.

Liam you have emphatically shook off the ring rust …

It’s time for. One of these ..l

Area Title
Commonwealth title
British Title.

Tell Lee to get his finger out and deliver the right fights as was promised.

I suspect he's having a bit of time with family, hope we see the chap out soon. Amazing redemption story and I think we're all rooting for him.

I would love to see him get some redemption and a few straps. He got done dirty and was matched hard throughout his career, like his fight Vs Zac Dunn who was very good. I would love to see a few more chapters in the story and wish him luck

Idea.....and im not sure its been done before on here.

Hows about everytime Liam fights we all get behind him and throw a quid each onto a paypal account for him. A quid is nothing but it could soon add up to a few hundred quid from us lot each time he fights.

In return liam gets a nice 'boxrec forum' badge sewn onto his shorts.

What do you reckon Liam? we could then all hopefully cheer you on to a british title.
