OK. Enjoy the fight.tonyevs wrote: ↑06 Aug 2023, 08:39Yep - I watched it.mickey1975 wrote: ↑06 Aug 2023, 04:35I don't know if you watched it, highly likely you did wether you admit it or not, but Del got a bad hiding. All you guys who said he shouldn't have been anywhere near Fury are now happy to see him in with AJ with even more miles on the clock. Unless it is you just rate Tyson so far ahead of AJ.tonyevs wrote: ↑06 Aug 2023, 04:27
Yet our Micky was also in full approval of Chisora facing Fury in his last fight .. he had more reasons to justify it than critisize it; pretty sure he called Fury a genius for making it![]()
Why was it OK for a heavyweight world belt holder to face Chisora in a defence less than a year ago - and not a guy who is rebuilding after losing 2 of his last 3 fights Micky?
And it went pretty much as everyone predicted - and based on those predictions - most in the knitting circle didn`t feel Fury should have fought him. Yet you justified Fury fighting Del for a number of reasons .. and actually praised him as being a genius in doing so.
Lets be honest here Micky mate - you are in no position to criticise if Joshua does fight Chisora now after the argument you provided for Fury to just fight him.
I do rate Fury above Joshua based wholly on him being a world title belt holder and Joshua at this stage merely a contender. If Fury can fight Chisora in his last fight, why wouldn`t it be fair for a guy rebuilding after losing 2 or his last 3?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Derek Chisora | DAZN PPV - 12 August 2023
I wouldn`t want to see AJ v Del.
The point was - based on Furys low standard of opposition, and Furys top fans consisting of the terrible-trio of Doofy, Dribble and Micky justifying and praising Fury fighting Chisora less than a year ago ... then Chisora would be a totally acceptable last minute opponent for Joshua.
But .. as bad as Eddie is - I doubt he would stoop as low as Fury and fWanks level and actually try to sell Joshua v Chisora next.

You defended your man fighting Chisora, so can’t criticise someone who is rebuilding fighting him.

Getting the guy ranked 10th in the world by BoxRec at a weeks notice is a hell shout from Eddie.

It's true though Doofy. Just the other week you were making incorrect claims that no other fighter had come close to Tyson Fury in attracting live stadium gates of 156,000 in one year. It had to be pointed out to you that this was a lie, that Anthony Joshua had done so twice, with one year actually reaching 165,000. I know that's tough for you to take in, but it's a fact, not just some made up nonsense.

Chisora must be about a shot as Danny Williams was when Chisora rolled over him. A confidence boosting Joshua in two win coming up. Pretty meaningless though in the grand scheme of things.

Of course it’s going to be Del boy, they would’ve considered hzorig, for about five seconds.
To paraphrase Mickey Duff, Eddie and DAZN have performed a star is born in reverse, they’ve taken a star and turned him into an unknown.

It's just very surprising that you'd make such a 'mistake' Doofy, given how closely you follow and scrutinize Joshua's life. Although, understandable that you wish to blank out parts where he's outperformed Fury. No worries, move on.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Derek Chisora | DAZN PPV - 12 August 2023
Joshua vs Chisora is a bit of a joke fight, mainly cos they are mates - doesn't Joshua manage Chisora? We all saw how Fury was taking it easy vs Chisora - Joshua will do that.
Unfortunately, I think the second Parker fight really did Chisora a lot of harm both in terms of his own well-being and his stature as a "gatekeeper" - he got smashed by a gatekeeper himself.
