pacheco gets the ko in the 9th with a good flurry. not a bad showing but with some things he can work on tactically. sitting down more on shots, and also staying longer inside/midrange and throwing more of his hooks and uppers. when he started working with those in closer range he ended it pretty fast.

despite his height, his most damaging shots are closer up. body shots with cullen and the mexican he fought recently. hooks and uppers here. dont want him to think he needs to fight outside just because he's tall

Excellent learning fight. Made a few mistakes, but finished very well. He needs a few more fights at that level before stepping up IMO.

ya i agrree, he had a bit more issues with that than i was expecting, despite winning well. could use some more seasoning and at only 22 can take those fights without needing to step up in a hurry

Very good hard fought win for Pacheco there, outboxed Coceres behind the jab for the first 5 rounds but Coceres, squat and strong, winging in the shots and by the 6th he was landing and putting pressure on Pacheco, first acid test of sorts and he put a few rounds together, Pacheco showed his mettle though kept composed and began hurting Coceres in the 8th, Coceres stood up to some big big punches , couldn't stand up to that monster uppercut in the 9th though, Pacheco nearly decapitated him, Coceres couldn't make count, entertaining stuff
