What’s concerning to me is that I’d imagine this type of additional testing is only being done with c.5% of fights/fighters. Probably not even that much.

I’ve long accepted that nigh on everyone is on it. I’ve been sure Mayer and her little garden is on it for ages and didn’t know about her mate Fuchs popping hot as an am.

It’s amazing as I was a half decent athlete when I was young. I used to finish 6th or 7th in the Welsh championships in swimming but can honestly say I wouldn’t want to take drugs if it meant I’d finish those few places higher and end up swimming at the commonwealth games. These athletes on drugs have such an incredible mentality to me that it must be that they all know that everyone else is on it meaning their just doing what they have to rather than doing anything wrong.

Its bad enough fighters picking and choose who they fight most of the time nevermind cheating aswell. Enough is enough. Short term pain for long term gain hopefully

Other promotional outfits need to up their testing game, PBC, Top Rank, Golden Boy and Queensbury all need to step up but I doubt they will

Yes but so do the commissions and sanctioning bodies. Just a reminder, there were 64 pre fight UKAD tests last year and 153 post fight tests.

Take the Queensbury fights tomorrow night. The chances are that not one fighter on the bill has had a drugs test during camp and one fighter from the bill will have a post fight drugs test (using the numbers from last year and assuming similar this year).

Matchroom handled the Conor Benn stuff really poorly but seem to be doing more additional testing on top of the mandatory testing than the rest. That may be because Eddie just tells people more about it but it makes you wonder if this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I always hated how Floyd wouldn’t sign up to VADA.

Yeah, but at least there is order. Boxing is the global equivalent of the wild west.

England's Women's football team needs proper testing - they fishy.

We know 99% are on something so it's no surprise but I suppose they are failing the tests because they are getting tested more. Anthony Fowler said he never had a drugs test in his career. That tells you a lot.
