Has any other elite fighter done that?
I know what a shit house dosser, do you think the self described greatest HW of all time might find his own testicles and fight him now?
No.
Following the MMA man he will announce a fight with the ‘real champion’, Daniel Dubois.

Okay…

Usyk shorts were high - nope. They sat on the line of the protector which is dictated by the protector.

It wasn’t in the balls so wasn’t low - nope. Low is between hips and generally indicated by the ref at the start of the contest. I have been too busy to rewatch so will have to confirm if this happened later but I’d be surprised if not. A punch to the bladder area can be both dangerous and very painful, it’s not a legal scoring zone.

Dubois should be winner by KO - nope. We really don’t know that if the ref had judged the low blow to be legal that Usyk wouldn’t have got up and seen out the round. Perhaps he would, perhaps he wouldn’t.

Usyk used gamesmanship/played the referee - IMO nope. When has he ever been anything other than an absolute, genuine professional? It’s POSSIBLE that whilst easily boxing rings around Dubois that he felt the need to fake but that’s generally what people being soundly beaten do.

Dubois should now be the deserved champion - IMO nope. If the low blow had been judged to be legal AND Usyk wasn’t able to continue, he would be the same type of champion that Rahman was when he beat Lewis in their first contest, actually even less so as the contest was much less competitive.

The commentators said it was legal so it was legal - nope. No explanation needed.

Frampton said it as he saw it.
Real boxing fans were more disappointed with a well known boxer laying on the floor shaking after being hit on his waistband.

Whether you think the punch was illegal or not( i dont think it was as his shorts were up to high but thats beside the point) he clearly wasnt hit in the balls or dick or groin in general. So there was no reason to embarass himself sitting on the floor panting and then pacing around the ring for afew minutes against dd. Against fuking dd. It really was sad to look at. Anyways hes clearly weak to the body, dd hurt him again a couple rounds later to the body and he stumbled back. Hes clearly an elite fighter but not a true heavy that was noticable last night. Fury right now is the only one that prob beats him but in another generation of heavies i think hed really struggle. But overall that display on the floor and the time wasting after against a fighter of dds calibre was really dissapointing :bag:
You ever been caught on the protector?
Yes i have been obviously just like the majority of posters here have been. Is this like 1 of them meme things that says "do you even lift bro?" :bag:

Usyk claimed he was injured and turned down the Fury fight in December. He then halted negotiations earlier this year and fled to Poland leading to Biglennox declaring him as the “People’s Champion”.
The Knitting Circle are still defending the indefensible whilst ignoring the obvious question:
Which other elite boxer has lay on the floor shaking after being hit on the waistband?

Bore off John.
Go tell your boy to grow some balls and face a proper contender instead of a 38 year old past it gatekeeper or zero fight boxing novice.

The “proper contender” ran away. He’s had 5 fights in 5 years and now he’s talking of fighting tomorrow, fighting Dubois on the street and needing a long rest.

I think the question is why Fury suddenly requested there not to be a rematch clause with Uysk but has a rematch clause in his contract with Ngannou?

Its no longer relevant, of course, as Fury has moved into the entertainment business. I guess he will be gutted that Dubois' low blows weren't enough to derail the no.1 in the division.

It's quite interesting to see how aggressively Dubois team were promoting his chances before hand and how aggressive they are in defeat. Some spectacle. An example to all on how to lose with as little dignify as possible.

If Sugar Hill is not in Morecambe, Fury can’t fight.

Surely that means he can’t fight Ngannou.

The Knitting Circle is now the largest man-made circle on Earth and can be viewed from space!

He doesn't need a trainer to fight a pro novice, you silly unknowledgable on boxing person. He definitely would need a trainer to face the #1 heavyweight in the World, Oly Usyk though. :box:

"He brings huge honour and hope to his country, at a time they need as much inspiration as they can get. If you can't like and support this guy, you really can't support anybody"

And, yet, the Fury fanboys can't support or appreciate Uysk. Far happier spending their time watching Fury bash up no hopers.

For the sake of accuracy and objectivity, we have to mention that when Usyk did attempt to negotiate with Fury for the fight, Fury clealy didn’t want it for despite Warren saying it would be an easy straightforward 50-50 split. Fury’s ridiculous demand for a 70-30 split killed the fight.

Classic technique, low ball your opponent and give them no option but to decline the offer and then make out that they were unreasonable for turning down such a derisory offer...

I think most people see Fury for what he is; a talented but complex character who is a walking contradiction who really can’t be trusted on what he says and who doesn’t really help his promoters trying to negotiate the big fights.
