Losing on points to gabrial dossen is huge as well Dossen is excellent and beating mark dickinson is also a huge win. Sometimes the am stuff doesnt translate straight away. Different games
ya different games true, some never catch onto the pros for some reason. i guess if youre pillow handed it doesnt help

Same way that some very average ams light up the pros because it just suits them.

I scored both the draw and the loss to Hennessy jnr, but the loss could have gone either way TBF. (Worth noting the that the guy who beat Hennessy jnr also achieved a debatable draw with Florian Marku).
I thought the draw was a little harsh on Hennessy jnr.
Hennessy jnr does need to be brought along at the right pace, but fortunately he has a dad looking after him who will know when to step him up at the right time.

good post, Genuinely interested to see how far he can go. He's quite tall for the weight and seems to live the life, fair play to him.

Fights off. Benn pulled out the fight and him and his manager (Lee Eaton) have parted ways.
Harley Benn getting coated on social media, Bradley Skeete giving it to him.

Rightfully so. Surely he'd get more coverage for this fight than that fight vs the decent Indian guy in Dubai.

He uses social media to talk shjt and get himself these fights and then pony’s himself and pulls out. He’s a strange kid. He would be more sorted to misfits boxing

Dead right about pillow handed , Lot will not agree with me , but i've always said if your not heavy handed and don't have a good chin you have no right turning pro , speed and tippy tap is for the ameteurs .

Disappointed for young Hennessy jnr. This would have been a good final stepping stone towards a Southern Area title fight.
Hopefully he can put the disappointment to one side and move on.

Apparently the fight isn't completely dead in the water just yet, but it does seem unlikely Benn will go through with the fight.

I like Hennessy Jr and his sister Fran. They are extremely polite and courteous when being interviewed….
I will follow their careers closely and hope they do well for themselves.
I think Hennessy Jr v Joe Laws ia a great
Domestic scrap.

Hennessy strikes me as a nice fella. He's quite skilled too. Would like to see him do well!

indeed. Joe desperately trying to talk himself into some semblance of relevance. Rylan Charlton will be high in my esteem for sparking him and in turn shutting Bellew up, albeit briefly before he ventured off to safety/his wife and kids.

Laws will try and head into misfits boxing after this clearly.

I predict he'll just live off his personal independence payments and sub-let his supported housing.

They need to start matching Hennessey tougher
they do. Tbh I think he will want it, he seems an honest fighter who will embrace whatever level he ends up at.

Aren't Hennessy and Laws in very different weight divisions?
