Sounds like Ngannou wants a rematch with Fury, one of his coaches wants him to return to MMA to face Jon Jones. Most likely imo is Anthony Joshua. This will be the next step in Joshua's rebuilding phase and Francis gets another chance to shock the world. (However good Ngannou was stepping into the ring last Saturday, surely he is better now after going ten rounds with the Gypsy King?)

Y'know, one fight I expected to be more competitive than it was was Kovalev vs Canelo but what happened? Maybe I was thinking of the Kovalev from a few years prior. Well maybe Fury, and/or Joshua, and Wilder are close to the end of their careers, closer than even they expect.

Maybe my analogy was imperfect but I meant he was ripe for the picking. He had one foot out the door already. He hasn't won any big fights since then has he?

Edit -- I guess the frontrunners may be Parker, Zhang, or Wilder for December. I don't know though, that sounds crazy but if that is his destiny then bring it on.

But Hearn also said he wants to pave the way to Fury vs Joshua now that he thinks Fury is beatable by having Joshua take care of Ngannou.
