It was just something that was mentioned to me by a couple of Juniors at work. They're MMA fans who tuned in and didn't think it was kosher. Personally, I think it was.

My opinion, for what it's worth, is Fury turned up with the intention of carrying Ngannou and it backfired on him spectacularly.

I think Fury's punch resistance ain't what it used to be. I think his focus and mental game is severely depleted and he will never be as good as he was in the second Wilder fight.

I concur.

Fury thought it would be so easy,,he could coast to a win, without the need to make it an exhibition.

When he got there, Ngannou was better schooled than he thought, and much much stronger than anybody he faced since Wlad.

He also found his reflexes weren't quite up to muster.

At 35 and with few serious fights and lots of extra curricular activity, it would seem highly improbable he could return to his best level, arguably his 2nd fight with wilder.
