Him turning down the IBO defense on Canelo was daft. He went from being a former world champ of sorts to looking to challenge for the English, to then being knocked out on channel 5. Big climb back
definitely a decision that aged badly.

I think if I managed him I would try and get him on the road a la Johnny Nelson, or try and get a English title shot as a matter of urgency. I don't think he beats Iglesias who has his old belt. I think he would need to be a road warrior and get some rankings. Big job ahead

Good idea that. He's kinda the perfect opponent, because you know he ain't going to knock your guy out and your guy's probably gonna get the decision.

good take on it, had thought about going on the road as so few do it now. Hope he tries at least.

Hard work going on the road
Company man Johnny gets a lot of stick, but in boxing he did it the hard way

i think lerrone's chances of making much money as a winning fighter are very very small now. he does have a good skillset to excel as a journeyman, but a fairly inactive guy who turns down good opportunities doesnt really strike me as a guy who wants to take that path

A lot of hype from that gym, but since this post Edwards and Richards got stopped and Marku got well beaten.

No. Skill wise yes but he will just be used as an opponent. I don't think Nisse and Kalle will be high on him anymore
