The only issue I have - and it seems like a minor issue if this card comes to fruition - the crowd atmosphere will always be shit.

It could be the first card in a long time where I will want to watch every single fight. Might be the first card ever considering the opening fights on cards these days are usually a non-competitive nobody vs a nobody.

Bivol vs Lyndon Arthur is official (better opponent than Rivera in my opinion).
The rest of the card is supposed to be announced tomorrow.

Terrible. Hrgovic is the worst managed boxer in the sport.

Absolutely diabolical opponent choice for Hrgovic.

No Derrick James in Joshua's corner for the Wallin fight. Davison flying solo despite what we had been told about the limitations of his involvement.

They shouldent sanction hrg vs demotion. It’s about the level Frank regularly fights at… but still, that’s dangerous and silly.
I understand why hrg wants a can, he is sitting on a golden ticket to a world title, but you have to win a tiny bit higher… should fight babic on the card…. (Still a mismatch but at least a fun one.)

De Mori would be a bad huni opponent.
His level is “a decent comeback fight for goodal looking for an easy win”
That said… Dimori would still knock out martz….

An attempt was made to dredge DeMori up a few years ago to fight a contender. DeMori even suddenly and magically appeared in the rankings to help facilitate that fight but then it failed to get sanctioned. Can't remember who that particular opponent was. Anyone remember?
Thing is, DeMori has only gotten older and slower since and only fought bums in the mean time and suddenly he is fighting the highly rated Hrgovic??

Correct. Good get. It was a Triller show about 2 years ago and Hunter fought Forrest instead.

Mak v kabayel is a great one.
Hrgovic is probably the dullest fighter on the planet, no wonder they pick demori hoping he`ll fold in 30 seconds
But apart from this the card looks really good, if they can get bakole in with someone decent....bakole v Hrgovic should be made.

I don't fancy Kabayel's chances in that one. I can see a brutal beatdown.
You're the heavyweight expert, Funso. How do you see in paying out.

The South African cruiserweight who floored him three times, carried his points up from cruiserweight. That would be my guess. Not unless they gave him a point for every time he landed an illegal punch, elbow or headbutt on Usyk?

So which fights have been announced/confirmed by a legit source?
EDIT:
Found this
The Sanchez and Hrgovic fights are the least interesting but overall still a great night of boxing.
Kabayel deserves to be knocked out by Makhmudov for having his career moved so slowly. Miller deserves to be KO'd for all his drugs. I'll be looking forward to those ones.

We`ve been waiting for a big fight for Kabayel for years.
He's the legit European champion, has some good wins on points but no big excitement apart from his last fight against Smakici which was a war, and Kabayel showed he has some power as well. I can see why he's been avoided, he's a tricky decent enough operator.
But Mak is a different kettle of fish. If Kabayel doesn't try to get inside and let his hands go this could be an uncomfortable night. I`ll say Mak stops him in 5 rounds but he have to take a few.
This is a welcome step up for Mak given how awful the cruiser was last time.

Wiil Derrick James cop a portion of the blame if Joshua loses?
Or will Ben Davison receive all of the blame because he is running the camp and will be flying solo in Joshua's corner for the fight?

if the blame game is played, hopefully it reaches wilder levels of hilarity (i was poisoned, my trainer conspired against me, everything was racist, there was a spy in camp, they made my outfit too heavy, my opponent had floppy tampered gloves) rather than just bland bs

Throwing belts out of the ring and storming off to the dressing room, only to return and grab the michrophone from the winner who is making his victory speech, are nice touches too and far from bland b.s.
