He still beat Takam and Akpejiori recently which is better than all the others below him over the past two years. Just means for me that Kabayel goes even higher.

Re: BoxRec Forum HW Top 15 ranking - 2024 Update
1. Usyk (obviously)
2. Joshua (finished 2023 with a dominant performance against a top opponent)
3. Zhang (great 2023 with wins over Joyce)
4. Hrgovic (Why will nobody fight me!)
5. Parker (Picked up where old man Ortiz left off)
6. Fury (His resume just took a worse beating than the one Ngannou gave him. He's on borrowed time, not taking his career seriously, and living off past glories now)
7. Ruiz Jr (He's still a problem for anyone)
8. Kabayel (dark horse for many years---showed his level at the weekend)
9. Joyce (great win over Parker, but devastating losses to Zhang)
10. Sanchez (impressive, but needs to be tested)
11. Dubois (not the best display, but hats off to him, he banished some daemons)
12. Bakole (The win over Yoka has not aged well, but I want to see him fight his peers)
13. Wilder (If he can't land the right hand, he is just a punching bag)
14. Wallin (Realised what it really means to fight the elite of the division)
15. Ortiz (I think he still has enough that the likes of Makhmudov, Anderson, and Ajagba won't go near him for a while yet)
I was tempted to insert Anderson at 15, but he hasn't really got that one good win to push him up the ladder yet.
I'd probably insert Whyte at #10, but I suspect he is quietly taking a ban at present.

ruthy said pg 1 no ruiz or ortiz, it's been 15 months since they fought an nothing scheduled
ortiz's only win since november 2020 is the fight where chuck martin bounced him off the canvas before the finish. come new years day it will be 2 years since that too![[icon_e_surprised.gif] :oo](./images/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif)

14. Makhmudov (Outclassed by a classy fighter. Very basic but his power keeps him relevant---much like Wilder)
15. Ajagba (Just edges out Anderson on recent form---Anderson still needs that signature win to propel him up the rankings)
Ruiz #7, Whyte #10, Ortiz #15 (but excluded for inactivity and bans)

Probably a reason why everyone else is in caps lock and Demi isn't

Takem at 13 is pissed… I mean everyone gets an opinion I guess, but takem is 43, his win vs yoka has aged badly. His loss to mak has aged badly, his loss to Joyce has aged badly, his loss to bakole was just bad…
Really like takem, and think he is solid. But can’t have him there… above mak who beat him recently.
Plus Demi with no efe? How.
