If Joyce loses then that will have to be added to biggest shocks
would be a massive shock. Esp with Kash having a loss last time round. I don't think Kash has ever been a full time boxer, people speak of him being a good boxer and has been a sparring partner lots. I remember he missed the press conference as he was working. Was with Ingles for a bit, Ty Booth talks about him Wood and Ali being taken to Nottingham City Centre to spar in the street to get their names out there / build up confidence.
What do others make of Ali on here?
Ali was pretty listless last time out in defeat, it feels like if he had a bit more dedication and belief he'd be at that English/Commonwealth/fringe British title level, but he never seems to have had that, for whatever reason.
With the Joyce fight, it's all about his mindset, I don't think he's someone you could believe in to put in the best performance of his life against likely the best opponent he's been in with. My guess is that we see a quit at some point, either in the corner, or taking a 10 count and getting up at 11. When that comes depends on how hard Joyce wants to go from the first bell.

It sounds wild given Nathan Heaney's 33% KO record, but I can see a scenario where he stops Brad Pauls late. We've seen Pauls gas out late in fights such as in the one vs Ryan Kelly where some would say he was fortunate to get the decision, he was soundly out boxed by Tyler Denny.
Heaney is a cardio machine, always in tip top shape, so if Pauls gasses late as he had done previously I would not be at all surprised for Heaney to get a late rounds TKO. I don't foresee this defence being much of an issue to Heaney, Pauls has achieved his pinnacle in winning the English title, and I say that with every respect for that achievement.

Zeuge looked off the couch at weigh in, came in at 173lb, with Parker at 169lb. Dev Sahni said it was made at a catch weight, without revealing the weight. I assume the catch weight was 170lb as Parker came in under that.
Zeuge looks deeply unserious about the whole thing, I expect an early KO from Parker who looked in supreme condition.

he kept laughing and mimicking going for a pint, looks like he's come for a laugh. Zach looked ripped and ready.

haha yeah, has been going on about going for a beer after the fight with Zach all week apparently, he'll take the pay cheque and disappear back into German obscurity.

I'm half expecting him to be necking a can between rounds.

Must've seen Zeuge a dozen times or more, he was a mainstay on fatherland undercards back in setanta/bnation times

definitely, beat Paul Smith, dropped him in last round too. Only has one loss on record. His heart does not appear to be in it now though, his physique implies the same unless he's rope a doping us before the fight. If so he is doing it expertly.
I do not think they'd risk Zach with a live opponent, he is limited.

That was wild how Paul Smith kept getting title shots. I think he was very unlucky in the first Abraham fight mind
