I still have no clue why that win has been scrubbed off Nunez's record. Bizarre stuff.

So, why are they counting the Jono Carroll-Alba fight? That's IBA as well, correct?

Maybe a few of the fighters have ghosts or aliens involved because I swear I saw them.

If this isn't the case file it under alphabet collusion.

It’s because of the Russian vs Ukraine war and Russia is not being recognised for any sports

boxrec is still counting loads of fights from russia though and this fight wasnt even in russia, it was in tajikistan

the iba is headed by a russian, but it has to be more than a russia thing when so many other russian bouts are being included

Artem Suslenkov defeated Michael Hunter as well
That's a pretty big upset
I believe Michael Hunter claimed this was an exhibition... of course if I lost and could get away with that, I might as well.

It does seem odd that Hunter would fly halfway around the world to bumfuck and fight an undefeated fighter, just 3 weeks after fighting in the states, if it could affect his official record.... then again, seems odd he'd do it for an exhibition.

judging by how listlessly he performed and how care free and happy he seemed at the decision of him losing, i can believe that he really did think it was an exhibition. he boxed like he did not give an eff. he has also been very picky about fights, so going to russia with that timing doesnt really fit the script he's followed

theres a total difference in his body language even before the fight when he fought his next bout, vs cassius chaney.

The card was never listed and the results are not in on their respective records.

Can you explain why ?

I noticed that. The major betting sites had it on.

I seem to recall Mike Hunter Jr. loisng a decsion the a Russian fighter. He lost, but it was not counted in Box Rec. When a decsion is renender in the ring, count it. It's not like it was a robbery. What gives?

This my org is better than your org could set boxing back even further.

But why Nuñez Rakhimov is still getting ignored if other Russian bouts are in, and it was taken in some other state?

Jackson Murray beat the big Nigerian, and that Uzbek amature star heavyweight got a decent win. These are “semi meaningfull” fights. Shame boxrec dosent recognise them.

You may already have noticed, but now on boxrec fights sanctioned by IBA are featured on the site.

The fight you mentioned Nunez vs Rakhimov is now in the databse in here :
