My revised list
1 Lennox Lewis
2 Bob Fitzsimmons
3 Joe Calzaghe
4 Randolph Turpin
5 Ted Kid Lewis
6 Naseem Hamed
7 Ricky Hatton
8 Carl Froch
9 AJ
10 Tyson Fury
Please feel free to rip into my list
If you have the likes of Tyson Fury and Naz Hamed on there then the likes of Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Frank Bruno and Henry Cooper deserve places too. Their records are everything as worthy, and probably more known to Joe Public too.
Freckly Bob ain't British, and never regarded himself as such either ..
Jimmy Wilde is missing from the original list.

I did not include the old school boxers just because I never saw them and the footage is less. I'm sure they are deserved of inclusion though.

oh Lord sorry mate, of course. Read about him in Buncey's book on boxing. British, CW, EBU, WBC champ. What a cretin to forget him.

Looked at some of the lists , thought Mmmm there not right , i can improve them , wrote down my own with deletions and additions , had a look , and thought Mmmm i can improve them , added some more deleted some more , then thought Mmmmm ,, nAAAW THERES WAS BETTER THAN MINE ANYWAY , SO I GIVE UP , and just say theres been a lot of good ones , and more often than not its down to who you like or percieve to be a good guy .
Will say though i wuld'nt put him at all time great , but one of my favorites was Sibson , suppose thats for a favorites thread not an all time great thread , On that note has well another fighter i always was and still love to watch was Julian Lorcy , (frenchman ) not the greatest but still one of my favorites
