armageto wrote: 11 Apr 2024, 19:20 Just make it simple and don't have any major belts on the line. It was never an issue in past tournaments, but if champs can't unify, they might as well not defend either.

The IBO and I guess Linear (?) can both be up for grabs. Plus whatever the WBO finalizes.
Joe Knights title will be on the line.....as he has no advocates, and he is broke, and can not hire anyone to look after his best interests. And my team of lawyers is tied up in litigation with Kevo's Motley Crew. Or of course we would defend his honor.

So the WBO is P4P1' decision....the WBA is live....... Perhaps the IBF and the WBC champions should have some say as to whether they wish their titles to be on the line or not? I will be listening intently to their wishes. Unifications? I'm against it during the MDT.....but open to popular opinion. After all..... it is the group that pays the sanctioning fees that keep the commissioners driving our Lexus autos and sporting our Silk Suits.

This is rather simple.... And it will be fun to lampoon those who have no will to be honorable.
The WBO championship will be on the line in any fight our champion takes part in.
We are fine with unifying, as stated before, if our champion loses against another champion and that organisation does not wish to unify we will declare our belt vacant and have the two highest available contenders fight for the championship.

A hypothetical question and apologies if this has been clarified in the past, what would happen in the even a player controlled fighter is eliminated, say during the group phase, the MDT still runs, naturally. Understood.

However, I assume said fighter would be stuck with just 'filler' fights until the tournament concludes? No title shots or anything? Might be a long wait.

Good question!

If Two Title holders should face one another...and one would lose....this title is back in the general mix. One of the reasons I resisted unifications during the MDT. E.G. IBF and WBA champs face each other in round 1......the losing titlist is back in the fold. Crease and I may well want to place current title holders facing one another in the early going for just that option/reason.

I would suggest that Joe Knight and JHL be one of the first round bouts. Guaranteeing that one title would immediately be available to the riff raff....uh I mean the fine group of talent that have assembled for these honorable contests.

I, for one, am glad that I am entering this competition unencumbered by one of these corrupt sanctioning bodies.

This needs fixing Commish. Dariusz should have 3 pts, as he won, albeit with loaded gloves....

We'll need to keep an eye on him in Gene's up and coming match,.

Now he has plenty of money to pay his "whining fine" from earlier in the season.....also he should consider a charitable donation to the widows and orphans fund.

Oh...and I hear Ezz has been stripped of the IBO because his manager has been found in violation of the morality clause clearly stated in the IBO policy manual.

Ezz could give a rat's ass about the IBO title anyway, and we're gonna enjoy giving your boy Bivens a proper pasting this week after that "whining fine" remark.
