I have always felt the fight would happen, Saudi money guarantees it, despite Fury's clear cowardice......

Folk said he cut himself.

Obviously I will feel stupid if he pulls out again.

I think he will win too, he is just too big and he knows how to use it.
For me even if he is a bit shot, he will maul his way to victory, something he couldn't do against a bigger man

We have had a lot of talking about the fight, ring face off's, a wild west promo video, a press conference, pull outs, and this week, a bespoke press conference for Fury to tell everyone again what he would do to Uysk. But, thus far, no fight. According to some, Uysk fled to Poland and wanted no part of Fury.

Hopefully it will happen on May 18. Previously, Uysk needed the fight more than Fury because Fury was the bigger star. However, since getting dropped, cut and beat on one score card by Ngannou(who got knocked out cold by AJ), Fury needs this fight more than Uysk. Swings and roundabouts this boxing game.

Yes, it does irk me. I also find it daft that people try to blame Tyson for getting cut in sparring. Does anyone really think Fury wanted that to happen.

After all lets say they signed for 50 mill each , Fury pulls out , sheik says its in the contract he forfeits 10 mill ,,, I ask you 10 mill of what , its not going to come out of the purse he did'nt earn , a doctors note will ensure the fight should'nt or could'nt go on ,, Naaaw i think its all just smoke and mirrors and the usual bollocks and bullshit associated with boxing

im seeing far more articles on social media about fury v joshua, than im seeing about fury v usyk. reckon the ukrainian needs to be very worried about those judges.

More Publicity , a grasp at making it look more genuine , thinking its a way of making it look more genuine ,, Who Knows ?

I think the fight will happen. Fury appears to be in good shape and at a sensible weight.

Reminds me of the not so golden Joe Calzaghe era, in which he could pull out with bad hands at any moment, causing people to get frustrated and call into question the man's willingness, his ability as a champion, etc etc.

My one concern is, kind of akin to Riddick Bowe. There were two occasions when Bowe came in light: his 1992 epic triumph against Holyfield, and his 1996 rematch with Bowe. We know the former went well for him, but he was young and the weight loss didn't deplete him. However in the Golota rematch, Bowe was vulnerable and dehydrated (although still played his part in a great fight), taking more punches than ever. Fury has fluctuated weights and physiques and maybe this will take its toll on him. But hopefully we'll see the best possible Fury, following what one hopes is going to be his best ever preparation. I certainly hope he won't be a sitting duck for one of the best, strongest willed, most versatile boxers out there.

i've no idea how this pans out but I do think we'll see the best version of Tyson in terms of prep. Whether he has declined, is to be seen. He has always surprised us though and overcome a lot so I am just intrigued. I hope it is a classic. Usyk is brilliant.
