SPOT ON , not rocket science is it , like i said boxers need to have a good look at who's pissing in there ear , theres money in the middle east , and i would be breaking my neck to try and get in on it , just ONE big fight could set you up for life , and the one you just mentioned would be one i'd be trying to get Frank to set up , theres idiots , besides Lions in the camp

Franks been in the game a long time, his contracts will be watertight, Yarde shooting himself in the foot fighting this one, there will be one winner and it won’t be Yarde. As others have said not the time to be jumping ship with all the Saudi interest

Hearn won't touch him I suspect. And I think others will be reluctant in light of Tunde. Yarde is badly advised imo.

I've always felt Yarde and his career have a synthetic feel and these latest shenanigans don't do anything to change my mind.
He got two world title shots without remotely earning them, two big paydays and got a whacked in both fights.
For the first time in his career he's potentially facing a real fight (50/50) and he's either bottling it or pricing himself out.
As just about everyone can sense, Yarde could end up really regretting things.

the funny thing is arthur's rep is based largely on beating yarde. the rest of his reccord is pretty ho hum. that win got arthur into some top tens. then by winning the rematch, yarde gets a win over a ranked fighter, who was only ranked cuz he beat yarde. kinda a back and forth jerk off

Point is, Yarde ain't top level, so pricing himself out of fights feels a bit silly. If he was to back himself and beat Buatsi, he instantly gains some star power. Atm he's essentially in limbo and not a draw.

Aye and I can't imagine FW letting him fight if he's still under promotional contract and wants to go elsewhere.

Personally, I don't rate Lyndon Arthur and never felt Yarde's bouts with Arthur were "real" fights (i.e. not 50/50).....Anthony just cocked-up the first contest.
Buatsi is a real fight IMO.

So it’s confirmed that Yarde is out of the purse bid. Willy Hutchinson has been approved to fight Buatsi for the interim title. Fights now been ordered so they’ll try and negotiate and possible purse bids.

Domestic purses are chicken feed in comparison to Saudi now.
Dazn were paying over the odds, but they are entwined in Saudi
Maybe Sky would pay over the odds off they feel they have a PPV star in the making.
I think Yarde has really shot himself in the foot, Hutchinson has taken his place in the Saudi fights

Yup. Yarde is apparently asking for £5m for the Buatsi fight. Joke really and hard to have any sympathy.

Looks like another fighter grossly overinflating the value of their brand - destined to end up in obscurity - other promoters are not likely to be keen to work with a fighter who demands such huge purses, without a really significant following - and why are the saudis going to want to get involved, he's not a rising star, as he hasn't really got the level of talent needed,. so I really don't see why he would think the fight is worth that much.

Bizarre isn't it. if ever there was a time to stick with FW it's now, even if he didn't want the Buatsi fight

I suspect that Yarde has probably figured the level he is capable of achieving, and is looking to cash out - but he's going about it entirely the wrong way.
