Just had the auto renew at 99 quid for the year so quite happy. It's nowhere near as good as Bocksnation but decent enough at that price.

Shame they didn't any decent football on there. There's only boxing that is worth watching.

You’re not watching all of the Women’s champions league football?

If it came with all the fights, I'd say it's still decent value. But with so many PPVs (surely it has considerably more than Sky now??) then it's frankly a pisstake. Boxing fans get mugged off more than any other sport.

Plus you can nearly always get the full Sky Sports package for £20 a month via Now tv, there's virtually always a promotion on which must bring in loads of casual subs. DAZN never seems to even want to attract casuals anymore, they've even deliberately made it harder to sub on an ad-hoc basis or buy a PPV without subscribing for at least a month, making the PPV cost effectively double. An incredibly unsustainable business model imo.

Madness when a lot of people are skint, at least with SKY and TNT you get all the other sports too

I did say decent! Shocking how little else there is on there

Bit of a piss take, I knew it was never stay a couple of quid a month but I was happy with a tenner, I get the DAZN channel free on the stick but still subscribe because Im no always gonna be able to watch fights live, I'll still keep it begrudgingly because I do get my money's worth, I watch every show and they do show 3/4 cards most weeks but they've only been in business here a few years and that's a few hikes already, I'm tied into the year, £15 a month

Just cancelled mine. I’d have swallowed a couple of quid, but it’s a 50% increase and you still have to pay for the PPVs that apparently were no more!

Plus most of it now is not needed as paying the boxers for their demands it’s just pocket money for the sports washing “his excellency “ now it is just pure greed

Good for you!
I made that decision when they introduced PPVs after saying the subscription would cover everything and PPVs were no longer.
Absolutely no regrets, stuff them.

Money talks in business, obviously this was done to raise revenue, but if it does they opposite, they will rethink

It won't though, when does it ever? I remember sky "dropping" PPV also after fights likes Harrison vs Haye and Bellew vs Cleverley 2.

By introducing PPV's it has already changed the mindset of some here - now describing the £10 a month as a "bargain" - I've never seen a company ever go back "down" on a price as it doesn't raise avenues - most will probably not be aware of a change in pricing (Direct Debit) and others will think "oh its only a £5 extra, bargain".

I pay 1,000 Norwegian Kr a year for DAZN, about £70

I just got back from a work trip to Australia. I paid the equivalent of £25 for a pack of 20 cigarettes.

When put in perspective I can't complain about £70 for a year.

haha i been to Norway a few times i remember going to a corner shop for a couple of snacks and it was like 30 quid.

I was on the £99 annual super saver. Wasn't best pleased when I saw it going up to £125, but the content has been decent (boxing only), so I was prepared to pay it.

I've only just found out today that Haney-Garcia is ppv, followed by Canelo, then Fury-Usyk.

So that's my subscription cancelled

I'm keeping it too and I'd buy the PPV, but I can't via my skybox and the app is too far behind for live betting, so I won't buy that.

Shame for DAZN - I@m sure there's a lot of punters that would pay if they could get streams/apps as fast as live tv.
Gutted that I can't get this Dream vs KingRy fight on Sky !

I did not know the app not being fit for purpose re live betting, that's a shame, hope they sort it.

We get the women's champions league and the Saudi league too!

The only reason I buy it is for the Women's football.

Every time I watch it it gives me hope that if I chop my nasties off, a comeback could still be on the cards

I’m disappointed that DAZN have started to put the bigger US fights on PPV in the U.K. I was under the impression that the Canelo/Golovkin 3 fight did poorly over here so they decided against it for many others since. Hopefully the Garcia/Haney sold poorly and they have a rethink.

I don’t really care about what statements were issued at the start (PPV is dead aimed at the US, game changed etc) as I can only judge something by the price I pay and the amount of use I get from it.

I got a lot of value out of allegedly back in the day and it’s the same with DAZN now paying £99 for the year. I pay less for some other apps but don’t watch anywhere near as much so the value is relative to each of us.

When it comes up for renewal if I find I’m watching far less due to them adding more fights to PPV then I’ll cancel.

I pay annually and consider it fantastic value.
