A dominant performance from Stevenson but again he flatters to deceive, Harutyunyan wasn't in his level, he was tough but made to look basic and one dimensional, Stevenson kept him at bay with the jab and left cross, Stevenson's body work was good but never hurt Harutyunyan or looked like putting him away, just another nondescript showing, Stevenson fast becoming one of my least favorite fighters to watch, he's clearly a skilled boxer but needs to go through the gears more and take chances, very safety first which is fine but don't moan about the critics and lack of fans

It's funny how boring ass fighters seem to have a complete lack of self awareness of how boring they are.

I put it down to frustration because deep down they know, still Stevenson will be hard to beat, we need the ying and yang in boxing, guys like Harutyunyan and Dos Santos do nothing for him, we need someone to bring the dawg out in him, I wouldn't be shocked to see Stevenson beat Davis or Zepeda or any other top lightweight, he's very good, very boring but very good

Conceicao and Foster was a pure bore fest, did look like Foster won the vast majority of the rounds with his jab and right hand counters, no real purchase in his punches but he was pretty accurate, Conceicao was poor, don't get me wrong there wasn't night and day in the rounds, it just followed the same old pattern, it was like 12 round high level amateur fight, boring as fck
like the main event, Conceicao must be thanking his lucky stars

Yeah, but he missed out on a solid deal.
Who knows, maybe Davis and/or Matchroom are on the horizon.

$3m per fight, is kinda what Crawford was on towards the end of his deal.. but and he was waaaaayyy more established

The boring guys are often good.
As a promoter I wouldn't sign a guy like Shakur Stevenson though.

the two best punches to throw against a southpaw are your right uppercut inside his right elbow (to his liver, not to his solar plexus) and then come back with your hook behind his right elbow. thats two quick liver punches. but you can't hit shakur stevenson with those punches.
