Of course, he can. Maybe even he will. He didn't really try to bully Usyk and chose to try to outbox him.

I'm really looking forward to the rematch, to see what adjustments the fighters will make, it was a great fight, and I expect the rematch to be a cracker

I agree. This is a modern great bout. Two excellent boxers. I supported fury being the Brit, but I’m happy for Usyk Becoming undisputed because he’s just a great guy. I would like Fury to win a close fight the second time and set up a rubber match for the trilogy. Imagine the size of that!

I hope there isn't a rematch, sick of them, let the division move on and give others their chance.Fuy will probably self destruct now and pile on 3 stone.

Yes, Fury certainly can - for a good four rounds he was thoroughly outboxing and even hurting at times the world's best fighter. No-one has done that to Usyk before.

Whether he actually does is a different matter. As mags has pointed out, Usyk's stamina is next-level, and that's what allowed him to hang in there and eventually find the fight-turning shots in rounds 8 and 9.

I've gone for no, but as Fury is bigger he could put a few stone on and just smother Usyk for 12 rounds in an ugly pushing and shoving fight and use his weight advantage rather than box his way to another 12 rounder

You can't bully Usyk.

Joshua tried that in their rematch, had Usyk rocking in the 9th and what happened next, Usyk came out in the 10th and put it on Joshua and Anthony was never the same in the contest.

Usyk is a dog and he proves it every time opponents think they can bully him or walk through him.

it would be dumb to write fury off completely after such a competitive fight. it wouldnt take a huge shift to have had a different result. although he said himself after that he couldnt have fought any better, and i think usyk would adapt himself

personally i would rather have aj-fury, been way too long without that happening

Of course, Fury COULD win, but I don't think he WILL. I think Usyk will again find a way, even if Fury changes tactics - I think he's just got that bit more upstairs to find ways to turn fights. He was getting outboxed by Fury, and so turned puncher, busting his nose, and then bashing him up properly in the 9th.

i would still make it a close fight. it was very competitive and fury had big success at times.

but ya, usyk already showed he can adjust to beat a fury that in the latter's own words couldnt have done any better. that's always a tough one to reverse

No I don't think he can. Usyk because he's trained continously like a machine has the much better stamina and he will outwork Fury in the last 4 rounds. I had Fury up after 8 rounds but Usyk just took over and upped the tempo. People who are saying 'Tyson should have followed through on his success' don't realise he simply couldn't. He doesn't have the stamina and has to pace himself. Now Fury does have good stamina, but Usyk's is elite.

Having said that anything can happen in boxing. Could Fury potentially knock Usyk out, maybe but I think he'd have to risk punching himself out.

Also Tyson says he's having a break now. Guess who won't be having a break - Usyk.

Agree he could win but highly doubt he would win , couple of things about this whole build up and scenario , Fury has a person went down in my estimation i've never liked the way he conducts himself but have felt its mostly been togue in cheek to grab views , numbers which equates to money , so he sort of gets a pass , But this time round Naaw he's supported his idiot bully of a father he's come across has really not giving a shit and having a similar personality , .

However with saying that his actual ability has a boxer has gone up in my estimations ,and thats why i agree he could win , but he won't couple of reasons his personality suggests he will not change anything , he'll still have John the mouth around him he will still surround himself with his familly and will not condiuct himself in a profesional manner , he's just too much like his father , and beside that i really believe Usyk done a job on him mentaly , he could'nt faze Usyk outside the ring and that worried him , its why he was showboating instead of working at times

I agree, I've never liked Fury as a person - he's thick and as some very unpleasant small minded attitudes, not surprising when you look at his cretin of a father.

He boxed very well in spurts against Usyk - but that is entirely his problem - he hasn't got the focus needed, to dominate someone like Usyk - he needs the showboating and the engagement of the crowd, it's part of his focus.

Going into a rematch, I think Fury would be more cautious, he knows now that Usyk has the power to smash him to bits - he was very lucky not to be stopped then and there. Usyk knows it too.

While both would make adjustments, I think Uysk would be a step ahead, not a lot but enough.
His engine is the real difference though.
Perhaps Fury got too comfortable boxing, but also he was forced to expend a lot of energy.
I think he needed to do the octopus job from early on to take Usyks energy away.
