Huck wins a UD, 97-93 across the board,(ditto) unsurprisingly it was pretty lackluster performance, he looked flabby but still tiny at heavyweight compared to Lazaridis who fought mostly in sparring partner mode, Huck was busier and pretty much won the fight with his jab, a few bursts now and again, occasionally Lazaridis would impose his size but then revert to type, he steadied Huck in the 2nd but never tried to build on it, as poor as Huck was, he still won easily

enjoyed hucks cruiser days, would tune into most of his fights. erratic but explosive and fit fighter. would often lose a bunch of rounds before roaring back

always came across as a bit of a dickhead though. once kicked an opponent, the opponent refused to continue, and huck got a dq win

his German Wikipedia says he moved back to Serbia in 2013 and is involved in real estate - sounds like that maybe didn't go well

Yeah, at that time he could have invested in the WBC ranking and secure a shot to the vacated Vitali's title. In the mix of Arreola, Stiverne and Wilder he could be a huge threat. Obviously, it's hard to pick Marco over any of the Klit bros. Btw, he apparently sparred with them.

The Povetkin fight was action packed and close. Povetkin worked more, but Huck landed the biggest shots. Povetkin seemed extremely tired closer to the end, but managed to continue his working.

ya it was an excellent fight. a lotta people thought huck was robbed, and he certainly had a good case for winning, but i had povetkin taking it by a point. one of those fights for me where the guy winning round by round is different than if i just chose a winner by an overall judgement of who did better.

thought huck gave away the first 3 rounds not working. then he opened up and rocked pov in the 4th and theyd go back and forth between huck having big rounds rocking pov with his burts, and pov squeaking rounds by working more as huck re energized. povetkin's only round where he really took it convincingly was the 11th.

pov was super gassed at the end. was overall not a good showing and i think he underperformed., on the other hand i think huck was a bit flattered by that fight, but vs some of the guys mentioned like arreola/stiverne could see him winning

If Huck was matched against Stiverne and Arreola after the Povetkin bout, I'd pick him to win. I'd pick him to win Wilder too, but Wilder's sniper/puncher chances would be bigger.
