Women will be ducking "her" and for a good reason. There should be no balls in women's boxing.

Yep it's a complex situation and I don't pretend to even begin to understand all the biological nuances being discussed, but it's clear this isn't a "man in a dress just wanting to beat up women" scenario like some people want to make out.

She may have been born with the same condition as Jamie Lee Curtis, who had some male genitalia on the inside. Like you, I'm no expert, but it would appear some people have got the pitchforks and flaming torches to the ready.

I went on google and several pages which also said it was just a rumour, also heard Jamie deny this also in interviews.
Send a link and I'll be happy to say I was wrong.

Khelif to take legal action in wake of alleged leaked medical reports
he Algerian boxer Imane Khelif, one of two at the centre of the Summer Olympics boxing gender row, is reportedly looking to take legal action over the release of alleged medical reports in France claiming she has male XY chromosomes.
The gender eligibility controversy that muddied the Paris 2024 Games rumbles on. In a week that saw Khelif unvoluntairly partake as a cameo of a Donald Trump campaign video on the eve of Tuesday's US presdidential election, the women's welterweight gold medallist cannot shake the spotlight with French media now claiming to have possession of a medical document implying that she has sexual development disorder supposedly found in genetic males.
The controversy first began when Khelif, and Taiwanese boxer Lin Yu-ting, were allowed to compete in Paris despite being disqualified from the International Boxing Association's (IBA) 2023 World Championship for failing gender eligibility tests. Since then, the IBA and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have continued to take swipes at each other, with IOC President Thomas Bach often on the receiving end of IBA President Umar Kremlev's diatribes. On the back of this week's developments, Kremlev has weighed in once more demanding that "IOC President Thomas Bach and his team issue a verbal and written apology to the global boxing community."
As the two boxers progressed through their respective Olympic events, with Khelif ousting Angela Carini in 46 seconds in the best-of-16 round before going on to defeat Chinese world champion Liu Yang in the final, attention and abuse mounted. The subsequent pandemonium resulted in Khelif filing a lawsuit for cyberbullying which included prominent individuals such as now US President-elect Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.
Now reports suggest that Khelif will be taking further legal action against those that referenced "unverified documents whose origin cannot be confirmed" according to the IOC. First mentioned in an article by journalist Djaffar Ait Aoudia for French media outlet Le Correspondent, the claims suggest that Khelif underwent medical tests at the Kremlin-Bicetre Hospital in Paris in June 2023 after being expelled from the 2023 IBA World Championship.
"We understand that Imane Khelif has taken legal action against individuals who commented on her situation during the Olympic Games Paris 2024, and is also preparing a lawsuit in response to the latest reporting," said an IOC Spokesperson. "The IOC will not comment while legal action is ongoing, or on media reports about unverified documents whose origin cannot be confirmed."
As for Khelif, her fight, now outside the ring, continues. "I am fully qualified to take part in this competition – I am a woman. I was born a woman, I’ve lived as a woman and I’ve competed as a woman," Khelif said after winning gold this summer. "There’s no doubt that there are enemies of success and that gives my success a special taste because of these attacks."

It's been confirmed by testing he is a bloke & will be banned from womens boxing.
Hopefully HE will have his Olympic gold medal now stripped from him.

i looked it up, the news is that to compete in world boxing (one of the main amateur orgs) all female adult boxers must have a gender test, and that khelif will need to take it

I think she would know if she was a fella. If she's speaking the truth, and I have no reason not to believe her, her legal team with have all the ammunition they need.
All this online abuse from people who know nothing about it is disgusting. They might as well get the flaming torches and pitchforks out.

I guess sports need to draw a definite line somewhere and then stick to it.
For me being born with a fanny is good enough for me and any extra chromosomes is having luck on your side.
You had the swimmer who had like size 23 feet, that's the luck of the draw.
I think as far as the xy chromosome goes, it's only a marker of being a bloke, but not proof in itself.
The real winner was the Italian female boxer who made such a song and dance about it that she got a nice payoff

He's been entirely sensible and humane on this issue since day one. That doesn't go down well on social media. Bunce is a decent, objective man.
