George Stewart showed some chin there - he was battered TF and never gave up. :salut:

Good win for Masood - first 12 rounder and he won it very wide.

He's never gonna do anything at a higher level though.. Could see that tonight. Defensively very open.

Stewart is very feather fisted, Anyone with a bit of power exposes him

True - woulda been braver not to send him out for R12, but literally what was the point ?

Stew had given his all and couldn't win - literally a hiding to nothing. Career shortening potential.

He wants Isaac Lowe for the British next (in Saudi) - can't see Lowe exposing him..

I've been a bit unfair here with my view on the stoppage, I just didn't see any difference from the previous couple of rounds, maybe he was hoping for a haymaker last couple of rounds. Perhaps he didn't know how close to the bell it was as well.

Noakes seems to have shoulders and arms twice as wide as Ceglia, surely it can't last long..?

Ceglia damaged eye/kinda quit, but can't really blame him - outclassed by a much bigger, stronger puncher.
He could only spoil and move.

Comfortable win for Abdulah as far as the scores were concerned but God Stewart made him work for it, a right hard bastard was Stewart, he was taking a trimming in there at times but he never stopped throwing and trying to win, Abdulah just had the bit of class, was busier, attacked with both hands pressured Stewart, in the later rounds Abdulah upped the pace, targeted the body more often, was more aggressive and it looked like he might get Stewart out of there, especially the last round, I was glad to see the towel ignored, Stewart deserved to hear the final bell, incredibly tough but Abdulah the clear winner

Noakes boxed really well, measured all night , kept to the basics, good jab and battered the body, Ceglia was negative as hell, was in defensive mode from the start, as Noakes upped the pace in the middle rounds any desire he had left him, barely threw a punch last 3 rounds, Noakes broke him down and Ceglia bailed on his stool after 8

I switched off before the main event, just couldn't take any more. It was like watching superbikes against mopeds all night. No other sport would be allowed to showcase this sort of mould on live television

Aggressive performance from Noakes. :box: The Italian challenger offered little TBH.

They've really got something in Noakes and I hope he's matched correctly from here on because if he is, Sam might end up competing at world level.
