I'm 3-1-1 now.
Thought LaBomba defo won the 3rd (?) when he got The Wee Pecker's eye.

commentary praising everything Essomba does, but in reality hes being outworked.

commentary awful tonight. no acknowledgement of edwards jab at all. he should win it on workrate. they creamed themselves over everything Essomba did, even when he missed or half landed. Barry Jones was shocking tonight.

Yeah maybe I was swayed by that - judges had it a wider UD.
Close fight, but Ed did more.

Ive got it a draw 114-114, not an exciting fight but it ebbed and flowed, Edwards outworked Essomba for long spells, flicking out the jab, landed a few rights to catch the eye, Essomba avoided most but couldn't match the workrate of Edwards until the middle rounds when he was able to time the left hands on Edwards, Edwards picked up the pace again landed a couple nice uppercuts but Essomba switched orthodox and has his best spells imo down the stretch, think Edwards felt a couple right hands late on, thought Edwards had a good last to get a draw in my card, thought he'd maybe nick it fair enough but 2 of those cards were too wide, quality over quantity imo

Edwards use of the jab was impressive but the jab itself wasn't all that great and he never followed with the right cross nearly enough

that was some bonus fight ! Ali didn't look like a top amateur ?!

Don't like to be down on a guy annihilated in front of his fans and the telly, but he looked fat and rubbish - why was he some prospect ? :maybe:

apparently this Hasnan Ali, was half decent in the youths, and he'd sold over 300 tickets

Same old story though, pakistani's (and South Asians in general) have horrendous glass jaws, and have a lot of desperate fans

His fans on youtube comments were saying 'future world champion inshallah' and all that lol

So embarrassing getting KO'd that quickly on your debut when you'd sold loads of tickets
