Matchroom set to try 9pm start time for main events in 2025

When I first started going to live shows, in the 1960s, the main event started about 9pm. There used to be further,fights after the main event and a couple of 4 or 6 round floaters available to pad out the time if the earlier fights finished quickly. I would welcome a return to those days, in more ways than one!

If they stick the main on at 9 they could have the main support and one other scheduled before it. All of the 60-54 garbage could go after the main event. If the two supports end early just pull forward one of the dross bouts or offer two of the prospects live tv money to face each other instead of going through the motions against a journeyman.
