Allen is pretty much retired

The matchmaking by team Fisher has been pretty boring so far.

I understand Fisher has had injuries? But this kind of inactivity and cotton wool matchmaking can only suggest one thing....the Romford bull isn't really that good.

Discuss....
Yes, I agree Fisher should be fighting Fury or maybe Usyk? Injuries or not
Fisher is young, with little experience

He needs some 10 round work where he will get rounds

Allen is a decent fight, followed by the likes of Wach, and some H Fury type opponents

When Allen gets battered will his social media addicted fans still believe for the next scam? Oh but he is a nice guy though lol. Absolutely pathetic. He is conning you.

He talks shite but that’s hardly unusual.

Absolutely done as a fighter though, and has been for years. Used to be limited but tough and stood up to a few leatherings at a decent level, but never looked like winning any of them. This won’t be a contest, it just a question of how long it’ll go on for. The 2024 version of DA isn’t likely to get past 4

That said though, I don’t think Fisher is up to much himself. He’s a big enough lump and looks like he can club away effectively enough, so probably too much for DA to stand up to for long at this stage. I don’t think he’s going very far though

Allen has never been very good but he seems like a nice bloke and is tough.

Being outboxed by Lenroy Thomas, having a real tough fight with Bracamonte shows his level really. It was being beaten up against Nick Webb before landing a big shot and his next best win was against a past it Lucas Browne after he lost the first round.

Every other time he’s fought someone trying to win he’s been well beat.

Fisher is limited but is improving. He’ll have more than enough to win this.

From the build up and the performance, I think he actually thought he might win that one. He was coming off the back of four stoppages including undefeated Webb and former WBA Regular champ, Browne. That's the only time against one of the bigger names that he's lost to that I think he went in thinking he was going to leave with his hand raised. It ended up being pretty uncomfortable to watch because Price was a definite level above. He was there to survive and pull a Webb-esque upset out of the bag against Clarke, Price, Yoka and Ortiz and did well to survive as long as he did in most of them. The Lenroy Thomas fight could've gone either way and was a winnable fight for Allen.

Yeh I remember that..

It’s crazy. Price was very active.

3 fights in 2018
3 fights in 2019

32. Loss 25–6 (1) Derek Chisora TKO 4 (12)

31 Win 25–5 (1) David Allen RTD 10 (12)

30 Win 24–5 (1) Kash Ali DQ 5 (10)

29 Win 23–5 (1) Tom Little TKO 4 (8)

28 Loss 22–5 (1) Sergey Kuzmin RTD 4 (10)

27 Loss 22–4 (1) Alexander Povetkin KO

Hope he got paid well. Heard was giving him some nice change.
