He was on one hell of a run.

Whatever went wrong - weight making, not training properly, overconfidence, or did things just happen so quickly he didn't master the basics? - I hope they can amend. He should've been able to beat Lopez and Catterall.
I can’t remember the condition he had now but I remember an interview he gave where he talked about not been able to do roadwork anymore due to an issue with his heel / Achilles (that part of the body anyway). Around the same time he seemed to lose them extra gears he had.
oh, makes sense I guess. maybe some overconfidence as well, or perhaps his love of the game just went. sounded like he was in trouble a fair bit, outside of boxing as well.

Taylor had such a great, accelerated development. I might revisit his fights, as this was one of the most exciting runs by a British fighter.

Yeah Taylor was superb on the way up and at his peak where he made it to undisputed. Him vs OHara Davies at the time was seen as a close one and he made absolute childsplay of him.

I don’t think he can rediscover his peak.

He’s still a good fighter. Only lost to Catterall and Teo who are both pretty high level.

Can still be in good fights and perhaps get himself into position to fight for a world title again.

I don’t believe so, there was never any press issues confirming it just speculation up til November
