You got to say this about Mark Rench and Gammer they're both good honest pliers, and to be honest I dont have an axe to grind with either.

And if they perform well it will be good for the spirit level of british boxing.

You are a lot of planks. Seeing the thread at 30+ I was settling down for an inteligent British heavyweight debate. But this...

To drag us bag to the original topic, I think Gammer will sand firm and get a scoffold of this fight from the early rounds. As much as I like Krence, I'm afraid his style is tarpaulin, and he's going to get a right DIY job done to him, so I reckon he should just get plastered before the fight and also go out on the bevel after. In short, a router for Gammer.

P.S. Any chance this one will be on terrestrial? I think a lot of people would be woodglued to the box if it was. I'd ducktape it at the very least.

Nobody tag the mick out of my local rag.....

Okay then. Mark Rench!

I actually worked in the Sports department of the paper for a short time as a journo. I bet you, Gammar's folks wrote the article.

There was a young squash player who was ranked 2 in Britain (for his age). When he was playing his tournaments, his father used to write in for the letter section. We would just copy the entire letter (word for wrod) and call it an article.

I enjoyed my time there, but it was a lazy job. The only time I did "proper" work was covering the football.

Sorry to drag this one up from eons ago, but the following just came to me, and won't go away until I utilise it.

(Please bear in mind I don't actually mean the following, and also that Krence is a butcher.)

Wasn't Krence just offal on Friday night?

I think Krence needs to get a couple of wins under his belt now. A couple of four-by-two fights on the odd undercard would be advisable

Who was the tool that re-ignited this thread.

Yeah, HAM-mer made mince meat of him. You'd have thought Krence would do a bit better with the steaks being higher.

Look, I'm sorry to say this, but screw you stu. I'll have you know that I've been going through one or two personal turmoils of late. With the help of this thread, however, I was just beginning to find my ball bearings, get my foot back on the ladder and lay some sound foundations. However, you're insult has just sent me plunging back down to the ground. Go off and pick your axe.

Kevo - fully agree. Krence came in looking fit and lean, but I actually think he needs to beef up in future. Word is though, he got a loin injury in the sixth, which ham-pered him in the later rounds. Poor wee lamb. He was going bananas after the fight.

NO. NO. Musn't start making fruit jokes. Tools is one thing. Meat is just about passable what with Krence being a butcher, but moving the bandwagonwheel onto other food substances is just a whole different kettle of fish. My apologies.
