berinchyk is a skilled boxer but doesnt have anything to hold davis off. even if he is fairly evasive and takes davis punches fine he will get outworked and lose a wide decision. this is really perfect matchmaking for davis

This. That's exactly the way I see it. I think, someone like Muratalla would've been a better match for Berinchyk (style-wise).

The old stager has proven quality but will be too slow and easy to hit for the young sharp shooter. Denis probably sees the bell, but late slashing punch stoppage not far behind.

Berinchyk sold his belt today, really looked like he was there for the money.
As soon as it was clear that he was no match for Davis, he opted out.

Size, speed and power was huge. Need to remember how Denis got the belt initially. Keyshawn strong and adapted well. Denis face was marked up then he went to the body.

I'm a big fan of Keyshawn. Not just in the ring but I like his whole persona & family dynamic. I hope he plays a big part over the next few years. I think he'll be a Welter by 30.

Abdullah Mason too, although he's a bit too reckless but at only 20 that's something that can be fixed.

Davis looked the goods, Berinchyk offered nothing to trouble him, he tried switching southpaw and pressuring but Keyshawn timed him well with the jab and right hand, easily kept him at bay, had Berinchyk down early in the 3rd with a left hand to the body and he was looking the boss in the 4th when he had him down again from the same shot, Berinchyk failing to beat the count, first title for Davis and it was as easy as it gets, impressive when you consider Berinchyk beating Navarrete
