he has a sore hand, he's still throwing hard punches with it, been much worse injuries, took a beating there. it's the tsunami of punches upstairs and down that's overwhelming him

body blows are the most effective for zep, when farmer cant land a clinch he gets ripped into with those . doubled over a bit there

Nice pressure from zepeda but once again lacking the power he might need at the top level.
Still wanna see him try at the top level though.

good last round
clearer win for billy z this time. farmer very game. wish the ref cracked down on the holding more though, a lot of start and stop because farmer would clinch so much when zep got in.

Wow farmer rocked zeppelin in the 12th but was simply too fucked to keep going.
Solid from zepeda wide victory 10-2 probably.
Weird fight to analyse cause I got no idea what happened to farmer, but it happened as a result of zep so credit to him.

majority decision
farmer was outlanded like 3-1 and was stumbling and clinging on most rounds like he only had a couple more left in him. he did some good scoring in spots but no way that was a draw. twice now he's got generous cards vs zepeda

For a second thought that no knockdown call was the difference, but na farmer won that round so it would of been
114-113 farmer to 114-113 zep 115-112 zep SD
Zep was sloppy, and farmer had sharp moments, but I thought farmer won 3 rounds at best…
Not bad sloppy, just when you punch 1000000 times a round it’s inevitably not as crisp and sharp…

dazn has a thing for the 'slick' types, i remember alex martin getting 9-1 by michael mckinson and sergio mora and some woman co host couldnt shut up about martin's boxign and how it could go either way, thanksfully the judges had more sense

ya 3 rounds to farmer sounds about right. 2-4 maybe on a scale of harsh to generous.

I had Zepeda winning it going away, didn't really bother scoring it but 3 or 4 rounds maybe for Framer for me.
As Greg alluded to earlier I'm not sure Zepeda really has the power to execute his style at the absolute top level, but good win nonetheless.

zep is a classic guy who is world class, but not that elite p4p type level. in a weak div he could be number 1, but unfortunately for him he has a couple of those elite guys in his division atm. he will simply be too easy to hit for them and doesnt have the 1 shot power to turn a fight he's way down in. i have little doubt shakur would handle him, but still i would rate him top 5 , pretty much everyone outside a very small group he would overwhelm with his insane fitness and output, up and down.
i was thinking we'd get stuff like 117-111, 117-111, 116-112, f@cking hell a majority decision.
at least the right man won but jeez, there was some tevin farmer love there

Collazo looked the damage again, Cano tried to fight him at his own game and hang in the pocket but couldn't match the volume, variety and accuracy of Collazo who broke him down, each round he was hitting Cano cleaner and harder and you could see Collazo getting more on top, eventually 5th round he caught Cano with a couple of body shots on the inside and down he went for the full count

Gotta say I had it a draw as well 114-114, just wasn't that impressed by Zepeda, obviously brought volume, targeted the body but didn't look as effective as he usually looks, Farmer doing his elbow in the 2nd was a nightmare, looked in serious distress and had moments where he was just running away looking about to get stopped but Farmer's heart is massive and he picked some clean counters while making Zepeda miss a lot, I had it even midway then Zepeda pulling away but I gave Farmer the last 3 to get a draw, no qualms with Zepeda getting it, it was what you prefer, Zepeda's pressure and volume with Farmer's defense and punch picking, another good fight but surprised a lot of you had Zepeda wide

116-112 maybe 115-113 for Zepeda. Definitely won it for me
I'm not as hot on him as I was before. A guy with a chin, movement and a punch will cause him problems

Looked close to me and plenty other folk by all accounts, I couldn't make a case for Farmer winning, reckon 116-112 Zepeda is ok, as for punch stats, just a fella pushing buttons, I take no notice of them unless I can use them to bolster my own argument, Zepeda did have some good moments I'm no disputing that but I you score round by round
