Polanco couldn't get the stoppage - fine - we know there won't always be KOs.
BUT, he didn't coast, he got a KD, he went for it.
Take note this weekend.

I got 17 cents on inoue getting knocked out (I had a random left over 17 cents on my account)… seems like I’m live for a sneaky 7 bucks profit…

What a fkn round!!

This is how you put on a show!

One big round .. but Cardenas still countering.

I feel Inoue’s power is not fully there against this guy.

Very special indeed, but he got proper heavy KD'd early on.
Cardenas great effort :salut:

kds he took vs nery and cardenas almost identical. overswing, turns himself out of position, then a looping shot smacks him. recovered well both times at least, mostly solid performance outside of that, but you have to think it would give MJ team some hope

Yh the Nery KD was more of a flash one

the issue for mj i see.........is that he doesnt put it on guys. he sits back and picks shots, sometimes doesnt work enough. i think he's gonna have to push more to make inoue uncomfortable and to win enough rounds. inoue has shown just dropping him aint enough

but it should give him hope to see a lesser puncher than himself drop inoue. and it was left hand that put him down in both fights. a few other times cardenas pushed inou back too, although i gave inoue all the rounds except 2.

i will say for inoue, his jab was good tonight, and after getting KD'd he didnt swing so wild when in close. if he keeps that jab going, and is more defensively attentive, he can turn in something much better than this.

Inoue coming up with the goods after a terrible weekend of boxing, some start from Cardenas dropping Inoue with a perfect left hook in the 2nd, caught him square footed and he went down hard, lucky for him it was end of the round, gallant effort from Cardenas he troubled Inoue in a couple of the rounds but round 4 Inoue was in the groove putting it on him, round 6 he gave Cardenas a trimming working him up and down with both hands, finally got to him in the 7th, steadied him with a right and landed 4 rights after it to send Cardenas down in the corner, round 8 didn't last long Inoue went for the kill and was hurting Cardenas to the head and body when the ref saved him

Cardenas fighting like how an underdog should fight, didn't sh1t the bed and Inoue fighting like a champ, getting knocked down isn't great but the way he recovered shows how great he is

Well after that spectacular fire fight, we know who the best fighter in the world is.

Turki must be in Saudi Arabia thinking f*ck me I backed the two wrong horses here. After the tired old plodding warhorse Canelo boring everyone half to death again, the monster lights up Las Vegas with a show of awesome power and excitement, taking out the phenomenally tough Cardenas in some style - perfect stoppage by the excellent ref, saving this warrior and future world champion for another day.

And my god this Mexican gladiator showed how you challenge for a world title, unlike that sorry excuse we saw in Saudi Arabia Saturday night. An amazing chin, his head was shockingly marked up at the end, taking all those bombs without flinching - incredible. And he was throwing TNT all the way. Only a true great would’ve come through that to beat him, what heart from both, amazing stuff. How many times did he test the monsters chin?? I lost count

I cant get over the knockdown in the 7th, the way Inoue just kept throwing the rights, surely every other fighters uses lefts as well to set up the right
