It’s dangerous for someone in their mid-30’s to be fighting at a lower weight than what he was in his prime with a rehydration clause.

But then the obvious counter argument is what’s the point in a rematch if Eubank is 100% as Benn will get knocked out.

I would like to see Eddie Hearn, Gareth A Davies & all these other ‘experts’ theory put to the test that Benn can go away & win world titles at welterweight.

I’d bet a very sizeable wedge that Benn won’t beat any 147 champions & in all likelihood he won’t even fight at 147 again.

Matchroom aren’t the ones who say yes or no as to whether he can use the toilet. That’s the board and they have to have a cut off somewhere given Benn, and the rest of the card, weighed in earlier. He weighed in twice and was over both times. That’s on him, not anyone else.

I heard team Eubank say there was confusion over the timings and they got stuck in traffic etc but he was the only fighter on the show to have an issue. If he did just need a wee then why didn’t he do that after the first weigh in attempt?

I like the fights being made, but seeing rematches isn’t always the way. Understandably it was close( but there was no question on the winner IMO.

Personally I don’t wanna see it again.

But money talks. Where else are they gonna make £9m ?
