Hell when you're that close it's a shame not to go ahead and make it an even 100. Just fight 2 absolute scrubs in those last 2 bouts if you must. Wouldn't have been the first time Paez fought a weak opponent.

Avenamar Peralta, who beat a young Victor Galindez three times in the space of a year at Luna Park in Buenas Aires, fought 150 times before retiring in 1982

Peralta fought here in 1977 and was gifted victory when Billy Aird suffered a moment of madness and butted Peralta in round five, for which the big Scouser was slung out. Billy had dominated the fight up to the finish but Peralta, overweight and ageing, was hardly the force of a few years earlier.

Yeah, by the time he was fighting above light heavyweight he was just an opponent for a lot of fighters

His brother, Gregorio, also had over 100 fights. Two cute fighters.
