- We had a long time self described drunken drug abuser who like you was 100% Peashooter, but like Pea himself, he weren't long in this world.
Unfortunately Pea's trainer, Lou Duva had your 2 digit IQ when he made his first Splashy title challenge to long time 106 fight record legend Jose Luis Ramirez in France. Nice splashy start running amuck darting in and out with flashing popcorn, but the slowish Jose soon started timing him as Peashooter was literally walking, nay running headfirst into lefthanded liver shots, ouchy+++ by the fellow southpaw Ramirez.
Poor Pea's splash turned out to be too flash to be believed as he finished crumbling, slowly hanging on for dear life as Ramirez successfully retained his WBC.
Poor dumbo Lou who was also instrumental in ruining the fine potential of Meldrick Taylor vs JCChavez, why of course he did what he did best in as he hyperventilated thru his bulging shorts:
Sulaiman, claiming there was no fix, filed a $1 million slander and libel lawsuit. The suit was dropped after Duva admitted that he had no "direct evidence" that the WBC fixed the fight.
Thanks for the comedy that you peashooters always deliver...

Well, my post is based on things that actually happened. Whitaker outboxed many boxers. Duran quit.... twice. If Pat Lawler can make him quit, Sweet Pea can.

I don't mind Duran, he was an a elite boxer, who quit against Pat Lawler.

Duran vs. Lawlor was on the undercard of Mike Tyson vs. Razor Ruddock I.
Duran was in the process of throwing a left hook when Lawlor landed a right on Duran's left shoulder. Duran grabbed his shoulder, bent over and grimaced in pain. The referee summoned Dr. Flip Homansky into the ring. Homansky told the referee to stop the fight as Duran protested and the crowd booed.
Duran and Lawlor had a rematch in 2000, which Duran won by a 12-round unanimous decision.

Yawn. Quitting against journeymen is behaviour incongruous with Duran's 100+ fight career, therefore something freak must have occurred, as it is wont to do with a worn out 40 yr old fat body engaging in fighting.
