Is this supposed to be PPV?
Yes. He lost almost every round and got a gift against Kamil Sokolowski, got sparked by Wardley and (barring a brief flurry), got dominated by Hrgovic.
That is not a PPV main event
Maybe they do.joshj909 wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025, 02:13Itauma, his team and his promoter clearly don't agree with you.gilgamesh wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 21:19I honestly think there's a very strong chance he'd beat Usyk if he fought him next. He seems to have all the tools. Speed, power, height and reach, a good jab. All that is gonna make him a difficult night for almost anybody.goose 5 wrote: ↑29 Sep 2025, 20:25 Age and a need for rounds lead to a conservative decision on the part of Itauma's people. I can understand it but I expect him to be the man by the end of 2026. Foreman fought 37 times in the first 40 months of his career. I wish that were possible in this era for a guy like Moses Itauma.
Frank already said Moses is headlining.
Well Chis already did headline "The Final Fight" of his career didn't he?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025, 12:05Frank already said Moses is headlining.
You’d think chizzy would want to headline his final fight of his career.
If it even is..
Well, yes, obviously.
If Usyk's plan is to take off until next May or so. Then Itauma could easily rack up 2 or 3 wins by then, and be his next challenger legitimately. All he needs is one guy in there that can go at least 7 or 8 rounds with him or even less if he offers some kinda fierce resistance and Itauma comes through it.Cyclops wrote: ↑30 Sep 2025, 12:48Well, yes, obviously.
I don't hate it, as a stay busy type thing and Adeleye is British champion, isn't he? But not PPV and not main event. It's a nice undercard fight. Nobody will expect it to be remotely competitive. It's not going to generate much of a buzz, is it?
I'd actually fornicating love this fight
