Curiel wins a UD
They both put up a decent workmanlike effort, Curiel had Panthen going a bit in the 9th which was as close as we got to a stoppage.
I had it wide for Curiel even though Panthen gave a good account himself and came to fight.

I tuned in for the Ruslan Abdullaev bout, terrible referee let Abudllaev opponent take way too much unnecessary punishment,,,

I had Curiel/Panthen a draw but seems everyone had Curiel comfortable, Panthen is tough, took it to Curiel from the start, tried to get his head on his chest and clubbed away with both hands upstairs and down, Curiel looked caught between styles, was holding his feet but not matching Panthen for volume, he did land the eye catching punches, Panthen was more workmanlike but I wasn't impressed with Curiel tbh, he dipped the legs of Panthen with a huge right in the 9th but again Panthen showing his durability to suck it up and keep punching, I knew Curiel would get it but he won't go much further

I watched the highlights, seemed brutal. But Abdullaev was pretty impressive. Is he the next great Uzbek hope? Now that Madrimov, Bek and MJ has had some setbacks...
