And all we'll hear is how everyone ducked him. Its been one excuse or cancellation followed by another with him.

He was scared of flying so he couldnt fight in the US, next thing he's in New York for a press conference a few years back. And ringside for some fights in the US.

well said. I remeber all those photo shoots in New York for the brewer match. I cant stand the guy. He bangs on about how hes cleaned out the division yet he hasnt fought anyone of note since, errm since .....

FW has made a judgement call that a RH who loses closely ( or bravely - even better for the UK audience who love a brave loser ) is a better prospect than the diminishing returns of putting him in to steamroller Lightweights

They dont give a fornicate about guys like us on this forum, because we know about boxing.

All they want to attract are the soccer fans who go and watch Hatton, the boozed up football fans and their tarts who think they are going to a VIP world title fight.

They dont know the difference between a boxing ring and a bull ring but the stupid pudenda still keep handing their money over while their slag birds try to look classy and interetsted in the fight.

The times i've been to a Hatton fight, the place is empty up until 10 minutes before a the fight. You think they'd have more sense than to pay 30-50 quid for one 'fight'. Obviously not.

gotta deal with it lads,
there arent enough houshold names to support people going to whole cards, they come to see a fighter or an individual.

thats why i love the york hall so much, its rammed from the first fight to the last.

This is what annoys me about boxing in Liverpool, not enough small shows. The times they have put on shows with local fighters (David Burke, Paul Smith etc) in the Everton Park sports center, the place is always packed, and the atmosphere is amazing. Can't remember the last time I went to one of these shows.

I even saw Kevin Mitchell's bird and her friend walking about at ringside (front row) during a fight at the Arthur - Docherty bill. Didn't look like an emergency. I know it's supposedly old fashioned, but I'm not a fan of when people do that. Likewise, I don't like when commentators talk during ringwalks. The way I see it the fighter has (usually) worked for years to get to that point, and is putting his health/living on the line. Pay attention and give him his moment - it only usually takes 5 minutes at the most.

Yeah, he was at DLH - Moseley 2. Came back and first thing he did was give an interview slagging off DLH - trying to equate himself and prove he was just as good, if not better than him.

Just some news. Charles Brewer got KO'ed in 10 by Lolenga Mock last night. So much for Veit's so called improvement, Brewer is totally shot. Joe's bet maybe not looking that bad now.
