Benn is only a 'stadium fighter' against Pacquiao, Mayweather or some Youtube dolt.

A Garcia fight is O2 at best.

The 'money man' whose total career earnings might get him the same amount of money that Garcia made in one fight. Benn doesn't sell out a stadium against anyone who is active and even close to his weightclass.

I think Ryan’s a bit too unstable to have headlining a mega fight.

That said, it wouldn’t be a mega fight. With respect to Ryan I don’t think there are many casuals in the UK who’ve heard of him and Benn without Eubank is a relative nobody

Not sure what is is like now - but Garcia was pretty huge in the states with his social media following. I think it would work better in the states than in the UK. Nigel Benn wasn't a complete unknown in the states and I think the Eubank stuff has attracted some stateside talk for Connor.

I'm the money man.
It didn't take long did it?
Delusions of grandeur.

Ring Magazine brought in Benn at #4 at Middleweight :brick:

Would love Garcia to smoke his over-bloated, egotistical boots.

SMH. I don't even rate him in the top 10 at WW or SWW, much less at MW. Just another head-scratching ranking from a publication that used to be considered among boxing's preeminent ones.

Go to 154 and fight Callum Walsh. Come through that fight with a win (which he won’t) then he can start getting some credit and start calling all the names as he likes to do

I'd love for him to fight a hungry fighter too

I really don’t like Benn and think that he’s a bang average fighter but I think that he would fight all the names he calls out I genuinely do, I just think Eddie knows he is not capable of mixing it with these fighters therefore we will keep getting fed scraps.

I think Benn would be trying to get Crocker if he was one of the other belts… but being the IBF title Benn would ironically have real issues making weight and real issues with the rehydration clause of the ibf …

Makes sense. He probably want to hydrate over 10 pounds.

Yea well he hydrated to 20lb over the welter limit this fight… so that’s probably a big deal unless he really changes his body.

Devin Haney is once again a world champion and this time in the welterweight division following a decision win over Brian Norman Jr over the weekend. With Haney’s win the attention immediately turned to where he will look for his next opponent in a rather weak division at the moment, and with Conor Benn being a obvious name after he’s made it clear his intention to drop back down to 147 to win a belt, Bill Haney would suggest that Benn hasn’t done much to earn that opportunity.

“Conor ‘When’. When is he going to get a belt? When is he going to do what Devin has done?” Bill Haney declared after their latest victory. “When is he going to do something in boxing that’s on Devin Haney’s level? I mean just one thing, before you start talking to us. We did the stadium in Australia [against George Kambosos], we did that for undisputed. We did Lomachenko. There’s a lot of tremendously talented fighters that deserve a shot.”

If Benn wants a small welterweight, why not Catterall first?

He'd get hammered by Haney too. Just don't really understand what he's looking for in an opponent at the moment other than talking for the sake of talking

He has been extremely carefully managed. The loss to Eubank was the only mistake, he should have been as weak and drained as he was in the second fight.

Dan Rafael on his podcast discussing the absurdity of Benn badmouthing Haney in a risible DAZN interview

“Conor Benn hasn’t so much as won the British title or a Commonwealth title or a European title ….. and he did a suspension for a blatant PED violation ….. Devin Haney’s got more accomplishment in his little finger as a professional boxer than Conor Benn has in his entire body”

Is there anybody in the world other than Conor, Nigel and Eddie who rate this non achiever ?

A lot of hate for Benn on here. Fighting in front of 70k people is something 95% of people on here could never do.

Yes he acts like a turd, but he's got balls and he works hard. Canelo and Fury pissed dirty but they dont get half the stick
