Joshua will come back and spark Fury written in the stars
He would need AJ money to come back, Wardley doesn't pay enoughgilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 14:33They already have. Wardley has one of 'em.
The belts fragment anytime anybody wants 'em too. If a star fighter comes back, and wants a belt, they'll just strip Usyk of one of his to give them to fight whichever guy their promoter would pay to have ranked #1![]()
That's how the Boxing business works.
Plus Wardley would kick his assCoco wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 16:47He would need AJ money to come back, Wardley doesn't pay enoughgilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 14:33They already have. Wardley has one of 'em.

I watched both Fury fights (with maybe a bit of fast forwarding) then the Price fight today (all 60 seconds of it) and did wonder what a fitter, properly ready McDermott against Chisora would have been likekeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 14:37I do wonder what John would have achieved if he'd been in better shape.mickey1975 wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 12:44Martin Power said on here McDermott was a very good sprinter.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 12:20
My favourite McDermott moment was when he was fighting on Sky Sports and, despite him being a big fat lump, the commentator said he'd "left it in the gym".
Yeah, good call.golden_labrador wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 18:03I watched both Fury fights (with maybe a bit of fast forwarding) then the Price fight today (all 60 seconds of it) and did wonder what a fitter, properly ready McDermott against Chisora would have been likekeithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 14:37I do wonder what John would have achieved if he'd been in better shape.
He was already planning the comeback tbfgregregegg wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 16:34 AJ gets in a car crash. Fury decides to come back… sounds about right.
Who would he fight Usyk no point ,Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 20:28He was already planning the comeback tbfgregregegg wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 16:34 AJ gets in a car crash. Fury decides to come back… sounds about right.
He's not fighting?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 19:26 I do find it really bizarre that Fury always takes to social media whenever AJ is fighting. I wonder why?
Like I said, whenever AJ is fighting.mickey1975 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2026, 03:43He's not fighting?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 19:26 I do find it really bizarre that Fury always takes to social media whenever AJ is fighting. I wonder why?
He's on social media every day, whether it's him or his team running it. It's not like he only pops up whenever AJ is in the news.keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑05 Jan 2026, 07:38Like I said, whenever AJ is fighting.mickey1975 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2026, 03:43He's not fighting?keithmoonhangover wrote: ↑04 Jan 2026, 19:26 I do find it really bizarre that Fury always takes to social media whenever AJ is fighting. Tend to agree with you BUT realisticly i cant see Fabio beating him ,unless he,s dropped a hell of a lot since his last fight . Facts are love him or loath him fury and Usyk are a level above Fabio

At Fury's age, and with so much inactivity, he could massively decline by the time he fights again.
Lost interest quite some time ago.
Yeah I agree. Think it’s a close fight.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑08 Jan 2026, 07:31At Fury's age, and with so much inactivity, he could massively decline by the time he fights again.
I'd make Fury favourite, but would be watching the fight on the edge of my seat.Frostieballs wrote: ↑08 Jan 2026, 07:54Yeah I agree. Think it’s a close fight.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑08 Jan 2026, 07:31At Fury's age, and with so much inactivity, he could massively decline by the time he fights again.
And how many times has Wardley been written off - only to win.
