I know what you mean. He's had a few pretty decent wars. But most people assumed he'd retired. It's hard to see him winning but if he is coming in to win and throws a few big ones we could have a bit of a fight. These guys styles are both very similar.

I'm almost tempted to get Paramount+ for this. I expect a surprisingly good fight here.

People keep sh*tting on Martin as if he's a complete bum, but the only person that ever blew him out with ease was Anthony Joshua. Otherwise than that even when he's lost, he got his licks in, and gave it a go. He's not quite the embarrassment everyone paints him as.

Don't get me wrong. He's not impressive by the standards of Heavyweight Champions, but he's not a complete bum as far as being a Semi-Decent Heavyweight Contender is concerned.

He's also physically bigger than Ajagba, and a Southpaw, and he came in at his lightest weight in a long while while Ajagba came in at his heaviest.

All this points to a potential upset in the making or at the very least Ajagba having a tougher night than people might've thought initially upon hearing of this match.

Umar Dzambekov stops Ahmed Elbiali with a peach of an uppercut after a very nice disciplined performance with some corking body shots setting up the KO.


About as conclusive a stoppage as you'll see.

Maybe I'll take this back. Martin still looks a little soft, but in very good shape for him. At least in the training footage.

Efe looks carved out of marble, though.

A bit early, anyone? I don't think he was going to win but I wouldn't have minded it going on a bit longer.

Could of gone longer but referee saved Martin from too much damage. Martin couldn't last another 30 seconds
