It's a lovely scenic drive as well...

News: Per sources, if #CaneloMbilli goes forward Oct. 31 in Riyadh, the likelihood is that the DAZN broadcast team will not be ringside and will call the card remotely from a studio in London. #boxing
DAZN should not give into terror, make a stand and send Adam Smith out to cover from ringside.
If he happens to be taken out by a ballistic missile while talking over the ring entrances, well so be it - after a short period of mourning ( 15 seconds ) we could all move on and enjoy the fight in his memory

Are numbers 6,7 and 8 ringers?

NEWS: Per source, Lindolfo Delgado, trainer Robert Garcia & the team remain in the US & don't have travel booked for his vacant IBF 140 title fight vs. Artur Biyarslanov next Saturday on #CaneloMbilli card in Riyadh. Biyarslanov is already there. Will the fight happen? I was told "probably not." #boxing

Meaningless main event in a meaningless country. I'm guessing UK PPV buys will be a handful.

No idea why some have gone through Bahrain.
Plenty of pilgrims are still flying out to Jeddah.
Much shorter distance to Riyadh from there. I’m sure they got them bullet trains too.

I have zero interest in it, I probably should, but it just doesn't appeal, maybe because Canelo is diminishing and maybe because its on PPV so I wont see it. Maybe because BN is monthly now so I feel more detached from boxing than ever before.

Think I'll only watch this afterwards if I hear it's worth watching or if Canelo loses.

I won't buy the PPV, but I am somewhat intrigued by the Alvarez-Mbilli bout. I am also curious to see how many of these fights actually take place, given the security concerns.

Seems a very dangerous situation for all involved. I've just seen Usyk and Canelo arriving together. Why it wasn't moved is anyone's guess

NEWS: Per source involved in #CaneloMbilli & as it relates to Lindofo Delgado not traveling for his scheduled 140 title fight, which is now off: Delgado's passport had either expired or was about to expire & the Saudis (like other places do also) would not issue a visa if it's expired (obviously) or inside 6 months of expiring. He renewed the passport last week & the visa was then being processed by the Saudis. It was set to be issued this past Sunday & that is when he opted out. #boxing

Have to feel awful for Biyarslanov here, who traveled to Riyadh early last week and was ready for his first title shot.
Arthur Biyarslanov is now on his way home to Chechnya after the heartbreaking news that Lindolfo Delgado was not going to show up in Riyadh. A late replacement was being sought for Biyarslanov with less than 5 days until fight night, unfortunately the timeline ran out.
19 out of 20 fighters have now arrived into Riyadh.
Biyarslanov will not be denied and will be given the deserved opportunity to fight for the prized vacant IBF Super Lightweight World Title, TBA

I'd take a pent up Smith on the cobbles against a half dozen Houthi rebels any day
One inch punch, bang, then onto the next one
