Masoud.

He then outboxed Peter McGrail & last week beat an Argie lad.

His next fight will probably be late 2027

Thanks Taansend

Yeah that's the lad, he looked a real class act.

His last fight was a little boring.

He’s technically a good boxer though.

Just needs to get into 3rd or 4th gear at times.

Given the added emotion of it almost certainly being Heaney's last fight this could be the best ring walk any of us will ever see

:yay: :yay: :yay:

fornicating Paramount+ is so slow today. It's freezing & jumping about like a stream from 2008.

I caught sight of Heaney at the Dubos Wardley fight, stood on his seat belting out every word of Delilah as it played over the Tannoy

I could see how Heaney might be given a draw there

What fight was Carl Frampton watching to give that a draw 😂

97-93 Warburton for me!

I lost money on Heaney twice on this rivalry.

Nevertheless. I wish him well, and would like to see him become a British fight commentator. He's bound to be an improvement over Adam Smith.

Heaney has been great for British boxing and has made the most of what he had. He's also been matched superbly and was never out of his depth (unlike former ticket seller Johnny Fisher).

His lack of footwork against Warburton here showed his limitations but you cant knock a trier so good to see him bow out on his own terms.

The man clearly loves boxing, he looked so excited in the crowd for the undercard fights, so hope he stays in the sport in some capacity.

Let's see where Warburton goes too. Looks British level only but may have grown from this win.

Yeah I don't look for anything spectacular for Warburton, but who knows. He could be "The Upset kid"

He does seem like a classic spoiler. Like even if you beat him it's hard to look good against him. One of those kinda guys.

Heaney seems a proper decent, genuine guy.
I hope he's made a few quid out of boxing.
