Good performance for Dev. I reckon they'll keep carrying him along with kid gloves for the next few years to try to tap into that huge market in India with a good fighter.

"This means the world to me, performing on a big stage, on the undercard of Anthony Joshua," said Dev on DAZN.
"I will keep growing. I am going to do my work. I'm excited to perform again sooner … coming from a small town to become a world champion of India, let's make this happen.
"The job is not done yet until I become a world champion."

"Exactly what we wanted," a bullish promoter, Eddie Hearn said, after watching Dev advance his pro resume with a first-round knockout.
"We have a chance here with a young man who can change the sport forever. It's unusual to have a young prospect who can change the sport in their country. That's legacy stuff. A whole country behind him who haven't experienced world championship boxing. Now, India has it.
"Seven wins. Five knockouts. This guy will bring championship boxing to India in 2027 and it is going to be jaw-dropping."

Out of interest does India care about boxing? I guess if Dev does well people in India will start to watch him but are there a lot of DAZN subscribers in the country?

I've played like an 8 or 9 song playlist, and they still haven't gotten onto the next fight

This is one of my biggest gripes about boxing. I hate waiting for the next fight

August pressing well behind the jab.
Bank reminds me of Josh Kelly.

Bank looks like he’s enjoying himself against this style. Showing a nice repertoire on the back foot.

August trying but Bank would have to fall apart dramatically from his own effort, to lose this. Doesn’t look remotely possible.

Thought Bank/August should've been a 10 rounder but glad now it isn't, as much a mismatch you'll see

Bank looks great against this guy dancing around with his hands down at his waist and throwing unconventional shots from all angles but whenever i see boxers with this style i wonder is he hard enough to hit to avoid shots from a top level opponent, does he move his head enough etc
