Problem was he never really had much motivation. He turned pro at about 300 pounds
Yep, I'm even reluctant to give him the "talent" prop because dedication and discipline is such a huge part of any fighters success.

The referee made a terrible hash allowing Ruiz to continue after the heavy knockdown.

Ruiz wasn't really in a fit state to continue and the ref seemed to give him an eternity to recover and robbed Knyba of a stoppage.

Andy still packs a punch and if he had got lucky later in the fight and beat Knyba it would have been a travesty.

You're a little bit obsessed with AJ.

A 'little'

He had fast hands, dog and could really box. I thought he beat Parker.

I think he massively underacheived his talent with his abysmal attitude, which is a shame 'cos it's totally gone now. He even looked in decent shape, but.. it's all gone now. .
When he was coming up I was really impressed with him but could not understand why a fighter so talented would come in looking like that.

I mentioned that on a forum & got called 'gay'

That night against Joshua was amazing & he'll always have that & is hopefully set up for life.

But his career also kind of died that night, due to his own gluttony & demons.

I don't see where he goes from here. Maybe him & Dave Allen could do like the old timers did & have a round the world tour, fighting each other every couple of weeks in different locations.
